In-character name: Jimmy Tombstone (I know, unoriginal and the same name as my Ckey, but I've actually had the character for a long time and he's generally who I play the most.)

general character info: Jimmy is six foot even and a hundred eighty pounds of pure muscle and mass. All through his school years he was a sports player and avid supporter of the UNSC. Rugged, he's an absolute powerhouse of a man. Jimmy originally grew up on Earth and after turning the rightful age he moved out to the outer colonies in search of something more. After settling in the Eridanus system he quickly met the love of his life. They eventually settled down permanently, or at least they thought, on Eridanus II. The planet was glassed a few years after they had settled down. Tombstone was one of the few who made it to the escape shuttles in his city. His wife wasn't so lucky as he witnessed her death. He vowed vengeance on the Covenant from there on out.

I'm suggesting this since it happened to me on friday...


I am suggesting we make the escape pods similar to the ones on tgstation, mainly because the ones we have can be destroyed entirely by one stray shot or laser whereas theirs will still fly as long as there is a floor....

I'm mainly suggesting this so its easier for people to escape if part of an escape pod is damaged rsther than the entire pod disappearing in to bloody narnia after being shot

Appeal details/ Why should you be unbanned:  I batoned a innie in there own base during the spawning problems and I also handcuffed him. I was then told to release him I then asked if I could lock him up wich in hind sight was a stupid thing to ask. me and some other odsts who were spawned in the insurrection base were in innie clothing aswell.
I released the innie  when told to this coupled with other notes is what lead to my permanent ban. I wasn't expecting a perma ban and I will say should I be let back into the community I will shape up. and you will see a major difference in player behavior.

Personally, I think the most important thing about moderating is: Caretaking the server, making sure I dont piss off staff/players/Anyone really. Making rounds interesting. 


Extra notes: I want to be a moderator as I genuinely care about the server, I have had good memories on it and I enjoy playing as a Insurrectionist and other roles. I also want to be it for the learning experiemce of being one.

There are a few points in the (https://projectunsc.org/forum/showthread...engagement) Rules of Engagement that I would like to contest for gameplay, balance, RP or other purposes

"Non-civilian hostages can be executed at any time for any reason" in both the UNSC and URF Rules of Engagement. While execution should be allowed for non-cooperative, violent, etc prisoners, someone that surrendered without firing a shot and co-operated while they were captured should have some degree of protections. For such prisoners (the quiet co-operative type) there should also be limits on interrogation/torture severity. "If an Innie surrenders peacefully or after non-lethal struggle or contact where they did not personally inflict casualty and co-operates with their arrest and processing, they are to be kept in Holding until they can face trial." [see misc suggestion #1]

Regarding prisoners, Rules of Engagement for taking prisoners should be implemented. Peacefully surrendering forces should not have their tendons cut or joints dislocated when UNSC forces outnumber prisoners stripped of gear 5 to 1. If handcuffs are unavailable, aim a smallarm at their legs or something until a humane method of restraint is available. Battlefield execution of unruly prisoners is allowed only if they are an objective threat. This is only to thin the numbers down such that co-operative prisoners may still survive the round and not get caught up in prisoner-UNSC crossfire. Ideally, prisoners should be secured with zip or handcuffs, which should be made available in the various armories. Other restraint methods are allowed, however. A UNSC lockable locker works as a ghetto paddywagon to hold URF forces, as does any that are welded shut

Clarify Heresy rules for the covenant. "Do not commit Heresy" is black and white until you see "Kig-Yar and Unggoy are allowed to secretly commit minor heresy". What constitutes as minor heresy? Using a human smallarm as a last ditch in a fight? A grunt manning a human HMG in a flood attack?

Maybe add in a rule for engaging the covenant that a covenant prisoner is not to be rendered free or armed?


Misc 1: Get an MP role. Break RoE and get treated like an Innie. Give them the power to fax central command about issues they can't uphold due to resistance among the ranks.
 > "Keep your marines in check, interrogate and handle prisoners. Administer executions when necessary and arrest marines who break Rules of engagement, Mutiny or disobey direct orders that aren't suicidal. This is considered an RP-heavy role, though less is acceptable when you have to handle a lot at once by yourself." as a suggested job description

Misc 2: 2-shot sawn-off and/or 5-6 shot pump/lever shotgun for Insurrectionists along with beanbag, flash, buck and slug ammo types in the armory. IIRC the asteroid has beanbag slugs on it but no shotguns, but I could be wrong there.

Misc 3: Clean up the Innie IED/Bomb/grenade workplace a bit. Give more beakers and a complex machines vendor.

Edit 3: Another misc suggestion: Make less than lethal ammo available to all human factions for a variety of guns. Rubber bullets, flash rounds and the like. I know you can make flashbangs as an Innie, but I'd love to see LTLs or crowd control things like tear gas being used more often.

General character info: Evie is generally a docile woman until shit hits the fan. She stands 180cm tall and weighs in at 70 kilograms. Her twin brother and another brother 1 year younger were killed when the Covenant glassed Corbulo. Her parents were killed on a UNSC base shortly after in a vehicle accident. When the local insurrection cells found out that she blamed the UNSC on all the family deaths, she was offered a rifle by the Insurrection. Evie didn't want to fight, not even those who were responsible for her family's deaths. She feared that she would be shot if she refused, however, so she took the rifle and made plans for splitting with the insurrection.

Some time later, Evie managed to surrender herself to a marine patrol. She was tried in court and offered a pardon if she completed four years of service as a marine. Four years later, her service was completed, but she elected to continue as a marine, passing the ODST qualifier test.

general character info: Sev was as bloodthirsty as most of his kind, but after seeing how others fall when rushing their enemies, he has decided to held back his instincts and become more respectful of his superiors, he still loves being sent into battle but now holds a more supportive role while also trying to teach others and help them stay alive. He has a short temper for those who won't respect superiors or won't listen to advice.

Reason for joining: Oh, I love how different the Covenant perspective is from the UNSC, how rich each Species can be and how that allows for so much Roleplay potential, plus each one plays differently aswell, I wish now to go even deeper between the Covenant ranks so I can fully experience each one.

Roleplay Example/History: While sent into a searching mission with a pack of other 3 T'voans, Sev was ordered to recover and inform of anything of value in a seemingly abandoned base, little to his knowledge they all were walking into a trap, and as they searched underground in the facility they got surrounded and ambushed, Sev saw as his partner got quickly surrounded and knocked, now being alone he made his way and when trying to communicate with the rest of his team, he could only hear them share the same fate as his fellow companion, not having other option but to escape, he made his way to his superiors, not knowing what punishment awaited for him.

More depth with factions details IE:

-Unggoy: Annoying little creatures, they seem to cause nothing but trouble from him even, and he believes that they are better as soldier if they mouths got welded shut.

-Kig-Yar: He tries to get along with his own kind, even though he knows some are smarter than others, he values all Kig-Yar life the same.

-Jiralhanae: He sees them as more brawn than might, he doesnt believe they ever have something intelligent to say, and likes them more in as soldiers than tacticians.

-Sangheili: He values both their battlefield knowdledge and leadership, and tries to obey them without question.

-Mgalekgolo: He respects the strenght and power of these inmense creatures, he tries to keep his distance with the creatures.

Full ban reason: No specified reason sent to me, but from what people have told me and what I believe it to be, it was the NSFW image I posted in general chat after XO said to someone not to post it.

Appeal details/ Why should you be unbanned: I have three things I have come to realise after the ban and during this appeal; That it was stupid of me to post an image after a member of staff had told another person not to post said image, second it was to limit similar images ( albeit not NSFW ) to the proper channel, which is Unggoy-Bathroom, and my third realisation is that that Unggoy had a dong on it, which I did not see and many others did not. I realise that my actions reflect poorly upon myself and after a lapse of judgement that came to posting it at all, I've come to believe that I am sincere in my apology in that I fucked up, I fucked up and broke three rules during that moment. No NSFW images at all are permitted, which I had no realise but that is no excuse. Keep posting to their relevant channels, such as shitposts to Unggoy-Bathroom, which I should of done. And always listen to a staff member as long as it is law ( and doesn't conflict with a more higher admin. ). I know I messed up pretty badly, however, I am writing this appeal in that I wish to be heard out in that I didn't realise the image was NSFW, which as far as I am told, was the primary concern with my ban. It is quite hard to see that dong.
