How does your character interact with the world around them and the people in it?: Generally a very easy-going person, he's the type to stay calm under pressure, as he understands the alternative usually leads to death. Though he's more enthusiastic to fight the good fight than the average trooper, Garth is no optimist, and understands just how dangerous any operation can be.

Provide a brief description of your character: Garth stands at 5'8, and looks like he's had one too many space twinkies, but he's still in good shape all things considered. He enlisted at the age of 26, having done years of odd jobs or volunteer work on his colony he carries a diverse skillset, and remains firm in his belief that there is always something he can be doing to help a little more. Lacking any sort of notable upbringing or character defining moments in his life, he hoped this would also give him a feeling of purpose, a chance to truly use his skills for the good of man.

Time in SS13: Started playing back in June, 2018.

Any SS13 Bans: Banned on oracle a few months (give or take) before it died. Got a job-ban on CM, banned from RO/CT on September 7th, 2018. Lifted on November 4th, 2018, 

Prior Moderation experience: Was a Moderator on CM-SS13 for a few months until just recently, so I have good knowledge of how (horrible) fun baystation coded moderation is.

Personally, I think the most important thing about moderating is: Would have to be patience, some investigations take forever, and some people can really rile you up, so as a member of a staff team you have to have the patience to deal with many things, log-diving, annoying people, all sorts of stuff like that.

How does your character interact with the world around them and the people in it?: Donable views the world around him with little interest, only wanting to essentially serve the UNSC and wipe out the alien menace that threatens him and his allies. Donable cares for his allies' lives, and his objectives, but cares little about any of those deemed hostile.

Provide a brief description of your character: Donable stands at a modest 6'1 and is somewhat stocky. He grew up on a relatively calm frontier planet with a strong UEG presence, until one day the URF bombed the local city and ignited a burning hate in Donable. When Donable turned 18 he enlisted and has been in the UNSC ever since then fighting the URF. The favored weapon of Donable is the MA5B, preferring to take humanities threats head on.

Reason for joining : Long time fan of the Halo universe and the UNSC has always been one of the coolest factions in my mind. Recently gave the server a shot and I've really enjoyed playing as a Marine.

Do you understand that you are not above the law, and may be persecuted for not following the RoE?: Yep. URF have a looser RoE, but they need to follow it.

Do you understand that you can be removed from the whitelist at any given time, based on your behavior, even when not playing the role you applied for?: Yep. Makes sense, OOC conduct reflects on me in all cases.

What do you think your job is as the role you are applying for?: The leadership caste for the URF above normal Officers, providing hierarchy and direction for the URF on the server while they try to fight the UNSC. It's not a combat role, it's a role meant to give direction and purpose for normal fighters. Something they can do now that base communications work.

Why should you be whitelisted?: I've been around for a while, and I've been a URF main since forum applications became a thing. I love the URF, ecstatic for the faction. I stay up long into the night on discord talking about it, I play it every opportunity I can. The faction has a lot going for it, but only when people can help keep it running. I'm not the most outstanding player, but I haven't done anything that bad administratively and this has been my faction of choice since the very start in late 2017.

The covenant perspective has been nice and i've had my fair share of it, it's been a good run but it feels like it's time to mix things up a little if only for a while. I just find myself having more interest in aspiring to the higher UNSC whitelists currently, and have felt this way long enough to decide that it's time to take the leap.

general character info: Zuyzuy likes to follow commands, and likes to get recognition for accomplishing the command given. Zuyzuy would and will do anything for his fellow Covenant soldiers. pretty much a suck up, since he is a lackey. Can sometimes have moments of good decision making, but generally he just follows what other people tells him to, and hopes to achieve recognition for his actions.

Reason for joining: Process of elimination of what I wanted to play. I usually Don't want to play anything higher than Marine on USCN, Same goes for URF, as I would likely play officer at most. I think that Covenant a lot more as to how it works than the other factions, as you can be a lot of races. I would likely use Covenant whitelists more than the other whitelists as well.

Roleplay Example/History: Im not sure how long I have played SS13, but it was around when Oracle was up and pulling around 30-50(?) players. I had an interest in trying to play the game about a year earlier I believe, but I did not know anything so I closed it down. The servers I usually had the most fun on had some sort of focus on roleplay, like Bay. Outside of SS13, I played Garry's Mod RP servers for some time, but stopped around 2017 because I found out that Garry's mod's server download files take up about two gigs.

Character(s): Jay Fraiser

How does your character interact with the world around them and the people in it?: Fraiser is very straight-forward and often at times quite sarcastic. He takes situations seriously but attempts to find humor in even some of the worst situations in hopes it'll get him through the darkest of times, especially with war raging all around him from the insurrection to the invasion of the covenant empire, both of which he despises for their attempts to undermine the government he serves.

Provide a brief description of your character: Jay grew up on Earth in the Sol System, the heart of the UEG to a middle-income family. Since his very early days he had been surrounded by UNSC propaganda and military recruitment offices whilst living a relatively fair life. This would set him very far apart from the less inclined outer-colonists who in contrast lived much farther from UNSC influence and often saw themselves on their own and more likely to inch towards the Insurrection. Thus, growing up with the mindset of a loyal dedicated citizen UEG and the UNSC which he saw as his protection since his days as a youth he naturally made the perfect soldier who without a doubt didn't question a single order passed down from his superiors among the UNSC.

Notably following his enlistment his skills with shooting a rifle and his interest with the human anatomy became very apparent during his early days in basic training. He was quickly evaluated and offered the option to engage in basic medical training which would prove very useful to him in the field as he'd begin prioritizing not only taking out the enemy but also ensuring the soldiers he served alongside made it home along with the rest of the unit after a fierce battle, making him a valuable asset to any division he was stationed in. Even in his late 20's he continues to serve the UNSC in hopes of working to achieve a unified and stable humanity until he dies or that goal is met.

Reason for joining : I prefer UNSC more since than any other faction because it is the only one that catches my attention, I also spend time in that being a Marine in most rounds.
