General Character Info: Edward Dormer grew up on the outer colonies, he initially wanted to join the UNSC as a hospital corpmans. While the idea itself was noble he soon found that what he was fighting for wasn't as pure as he had initially thought. His father Zack was arrested for what appeared to be bogus charges and soon he disappeared from the face of the colony. Edward knew that he had simply had some involvement in the insurrection, but never had any proof. Before swearing into the UNSC his family was taken out by gas leak in their home, while it was ruled an accident some of Zack's associates came forward showing that his family was taken out for being associated with the URF. Instead of showing up to swear in, Edward joined the URF and began his fight against the UNSC - for his family.

Reason for joining : To avenge his family's death and give it some meaning, and free his father.

Lemlem is an unggoy medic with a tendency to overpack and not think ahead martially as long as they have meatshields to cover them.


On storming a human vessel to detonate their onboard engine and switftly returning to their ship, they had sought out the deacon who had wounded themselves setting up the wiring to make the ship destruction possible. Realizing that their burns extended to radiation damage, they rummaged through their medicine cabinet to find the only medicine he had to counteract it could only heal the damage, not cure the radiation itself, and was nonplussed when the helmsman informed him that the deacon had died setting off a nuke on an orbital platform. Lemlem decided to continue the great journey in the deacon's stead, healing his fellows whenever possible, although never healing sangheli unless they specifically ask for it.

reason for joining: I would enjoy playing elites especially, i think there is a lot of RP opportunity, nothing like slapping those filthy unggoy to get them back in line.

in depth faction info: the sangheli are a proud noble race with a bushido like code of honor, jiralhanae are brutish fighters who serve tribal warlord chieftans, unggoy are social fighters, quick to flee in an emergency, kig yar are bird like mercenaries often deployed to support infantry, mekalek golo are worm colonies inhabiting armor that can be deployed in an anti armor capacity, san shyum are the religious leaders of the covenant who are technologically advanced and physically frail, yan me are insectoid fighters who often exploit their freedom of movement. They fight to rid a blight upon their religion, and worship the forerunners and the halo rings which they believe will grant them salvation for all who walk the path.

How does your character interact with the world around them and the people in it?: After witnessing chaos and destruction on his home colony, Johnny strives for true freedom for all men, women, and children to the point of sickness. Unrealistic dreams of his paradise has made him believe that his actions are always right and he would be glad to get his hands dirty no matter the cost or orders given to him by the commanding officer.

Provide a brief description of your character: Jango had always been a firm believer of the cause ever since he lost his twenty one kids on his home colony. He had spent many years developing nitroglycerin explosives due to his earlier profession of being a corn farmer and struggling with a space drug addiction to cope for the loss of his family. In aiding the resistance, Jango displayed incredible adaptability and growth in all topics of training. From medical, engineering, and weaponry skills, Jango had become all rounded with many helpful capabilities for use in the resistance. Jango is a man in average height with a shaven head and a shaven face. Jango likes to keep his appearance shaven clean just like his everyday tasks.

How does your character interact with the world around them and the people in it?:
Shuren is generally good natured amongst fellow marines and other UNSC, though noticably finicky about personal space
she tries to maintain a level of professionality in all situations. With a strong moral ethic that can place her at
odds with more trigger happy or sadistic marines, Shuren tries - though not always sucessfully - to take care to
look out for the needs of every other individual on her team. She has tendancy to place personnel over objectives,
and to exert bravery to the point of recklessness if it means drawing fire from hostiles for the sake of her team.

A natural born follower, Shuren is more than happy to let someone else make the decisions, though this doesn't mean
that she's wholly incapable of making their own decisions, questioning superiors or stepping up when no one else
will, just that she would prefer not to, and is far more comfortable operating on the orders of her superiors
than operating as one giving orders to others.

Shuren has come to resent the URF as a whole for the means that some insurrectionists are willing to use to achieve
their goals, this results in her being harsh and insensitive towards those that she knows or suspects to be
insurrectionists.

Though out of touch with the realities of life as an outer colonist she remains affable, if a little thoughtless when
dealing with civilians.

Her interactions with the covenant are very limited, when it comes to the aliens it's kill or be killed, no exceptions.
People will generally find themselves hard-pressed to convince her otherwise in any instance.

Provide a brief description of your character:
Shuren Tang stands at approximately five feet and five inches, she appears to be of a relatively average build,
in her early 20's, and has black hair that is usually tied into a low bun. Born and raised on the planet Earth,
enlisted in the UNSC Marine Corps as soon as she was able in order to find purpose. Shuren considers it better
to ask a stupid question than do a stupid thing, though she's usually the one asking stupid questions she has a
lot of patience for giving answers when she is able to do so. When she's made up her mind about something however,
she's as stubborn as a mule. Shruen often tends towards being self-assertive both in and out of combat often with
a fairly healthy sense of humor, though the sense of humor tends to distort in the middle of active combat.

How does your character interact with the world around them and the in  it?:  

Dormer is rather friendly to those in the URF and their allies, he is a joker for the most part but when things get serious he's one to take point as the leader and organize people as needed. When in combat he's calm, cool and collective in the face of adversity and when fighting he'll give it his all and fight until he wins or is dead. When confronted those outside of the URF he's skepetical and rather tight lipped, he stays quiet and remains a shadow so he can protect the URF and other assets. As a URF agent on Geminus he usually is one to recruit other colonists to the cause. When facing off against hostile elements such as ODST, Marines and other forces that would bring injury or death to URF member he'll fight them if forced and without a ounce of remorse.

Edward stands at approximately six foot three, he has gelled back blonde hair. His eyes are of a blue hue, his skin is of a fair complexion. On his feet are a pair of combat boots, he usually is seen wearing a pair of sweatpants or BDUs if the situation calls for it. Aswell he usuallly will be wearing a sweater or a bomber jacket with a band t-shirt.

How does your character interact with the world around them and the people in it?:
Soft spoken and simple, he didn't stick out like a sore thumb, just like any other soldier he'd follow every order, for inaction on his side meant either mission failure, or someone else doing his job for him. Never questioning authority, he accepted things as they were, he is at work, work comes first regardless of how silly or nonsensical it seemed to him. Never looking to pick fights with anyone, he lived through the days in a very repetitive, uninteresting way.

Provide a brief description of your character: 
Frank J. Bowman is a man in his early thirties, coming from the small farming colony Astat-5 in the inner rim of the known galaxy. Being as high as the average male, he stands at roughly around six feet tall, with decent musculature from all the field work he's done throughout the years. Working under his father's gaze in his early teens, he was taught to work with the more simpler farming machinery and equipment.

Initially a commercial pilot throughout his early to mid twenties, he transported farming equipment and produce from and to neighboring colonies. At the age of twenty-five and with the UNSC-Insurrectionist war, recruiters were deployed enmasse to his colony and the colonies he flew to and from. Having nothing to lose, and with the UNSC seemingly being somewhat desperate for additional manpower, he joined not out of patriotism, but because of necessity. He knew the pay would be more than acceptable, he had a respectable, sought-after skill. His end goal was to serve the UNSC and keep his home planet safe from the rebellion, to learn some valuable skills along the way too.
