general character info: A simple man plucked from the masses, he was initially a commercial pilot, becoming a conscript out of necessity. The UNSC weren't short on pelican pilots, no, but after the unceremonious arrival of the Covenant, who mercilessly attacked small farming colonies in the outer rim of the known galaxy, every man had a spot within the ranks of the UNSC. Frank isn't special whatsoever, he's just a bit of an unwashed bum that flies good.

Which role is your character's main(ex: Technician, Marine, etc): Usually either a Pelican Pilot or an XO. I enjoy maining the XO role, mainly because so far I've been really good at it.

Reason for joining : It's time for me to play as UNSC, I've played both URF and Covenant and I want to try out this one too.

Explain what you would do in the following scenarios and why:


Scenario 1:

You’re on the ONI Aegis and the ONI RD requests a Sierra team to deploy to VT9, as the covenant have been spotted and are attacking. They have not breached the gate and it is unclear as to the size of their forces. What do you do?
Re-access the situation, deployment of a Spartan team is a gross miss allocation of resources in this situation. Even if the RD is requesting Spartan assistance, there is no probable cause for deployment. The UNSC Marines have yet to be called down to assist, nor has the ONI base been breached and the RD be put in a directly dangerous situation. Await standby until you hear either the local Marine force was eliminated, or an override from High Command clears you for deployment.

Scenario 2:

You’re on the ONI Aegis and receive an urgent request from a Platoon Leader to deploy onto the UNSC Warship as the Insurrectionists have deployed a sizeable force and are taking control of the ship, and arming the nuclear device as they request assistance. What do you do?
Confirm orders with High Command. If the Platoon Leader is the highest ranking acting commander present. Then deployment may be approved, as Spartans may be deployed by RD, AND acting Commanders. UNSC assets are being stolen and destroyed, the Marine's defense lines have failed. Last resort is to send Spartans in to reclaim the ship.

Scenario 3:

You’ve been deployed on a mission to give the covenant back their bomb. You manage to arm the bomb, but your fellow spartan has been cut down and his body is being dragged away by the Covenant towards an escape pod. What do you do?

Priority one, Covenant cannot capture UNSC Technology. Spartan Armor is classified tier one. This means if it is a position where it is at risk of capture. Asset destruction takes priority. Even at the risk of the nuke detonating and catching you in the explosion. Retrieval and disposal via the self destruct built into the armor is required. Under no circumstances is the Covenant allowed to take off with the Spartan casualty.

Reason for Joining : The UEG is taxing the hell out of the colonies and he just wants to fish. That and he shot some marines dead when they tried to collect his taxes so now he's marked and the only safe place to go is to the URF so that one day he can return to his farm and go fishing.

How does your character interact with the world around them and the people in it?: She's here to take the fight back to the UNSC and the UEG, by any means necessary. Civilians are of little concern to her, As long as they don't take hostile actions towards her fellow members. Faith values the life of her fellow URF/SoE brothers and sisters above all else. She will always try to use diplomacy first in most encounters to try to gain a edge on her enemies, if no hostile actions were taken by any parties beforehand. 

Provide a brief description of your character: Long white hair, dyed shortly after joining the URF. Standing at 5"4 Faith is rather small. She talks little of her past life, before the URF. But whatever happened, she's still hurt by the memories of it.

general character info: Hassan, at an early age, never liked authority. He was a good child and was smart in most capacities but none of that matters because he could not conform to society and what they wanted from him. Hassan's most hated authority figure was the UNSC and the UEG as a whole. After taxes get blasted through the roof and the mistreating of the colonies he knew that the UEG was an inefficient beast that, in his mind, only existed to slow down human progress. Hassan is ready to take up arms with his brothers and bring down the Government that has done him and his kind dirty for too long.

Reason for joining : The URF is the only organized group that is actively fighting the UEG and having allies and resources will speed up the process of killing those UNSC dogs. The UEG is destined to fall and the URF will spit and dance on their grave.

Alright, so this thread is just about confirming if the sort of constant lag spikes happens to everyone. At times it doesnt or barely happen at all, at other times its every few seconds.

To describe it better, its like the screen freezes, but you can still do inputs i think because you can end up in other tiles than the position you froze in.

Many responses would be nice since more confirmation is always better, which may sound egotistic or something, but it doesnt take any more than a yes. Furthermore i am sure other people are wondering this too (if it really does happen to everyone that is).

P.S Not a complaint or call to action against it or anything like that as i assume if its serverwide you(Devs and stuff i dunno) already know about it and may already be working on it/too hard to fix.

He will do everything to achieve goals, he is ready to kill anyone, from a soldier to a child. Prefers execution to captivity. What do you think your job is as the role you are applying for? 

A Commanding Officer needs to be able to communicate with leaders of their various units, including Marine Platoon Leaders, the XO, and ODST Officers to effectively and efficiently combat any threat they come across. While they are not ordering around troops themselves necessarily, they lay the groundwork that allows infantry to do their job to their best ability, while keeping the grand scale of the operation in mind. 

Why should you be whitelisted?

I have played a lot of rounds as both XO and ODST, and I understand what goes into a successful ground and ship operation as part of the UNSC. I am organized and keep tabs on all of my units as XO, and manage my resources well to ensure victory. I have a lot of experience on this server, and I think I have what it takes to take full control of the UNSC during a particular round, not only to make sure the UNSC win, but to also make sure everyone on the server (included enemies) have fun.

How does your character interact with the world around them and the people in it?:
Dustin is a very opinionated ODST, and has open disdain for those from the colonies. That being said, he takes chain of command very seriously, and follows orders to the letter, and likewise is incredibly loyal to his team members. In combat, he is a conservative fighter, trying to take his enemies down from a distance rather than up close. 


Provide a brief description of your character:
 Dustin is a 6'2", with dirty blonde clean cut hair, and an average build. After a brief deployment as part of the 9th Marine Expeditionary Force as a Marksman, he was selected for ODST training and entered into the prestigious ODST Scout Sniper school. He was assigned to the 113th ODST Regiment and UNSC Bertels, where he excelled in a series of operations acting as the team sharpshooter. He was then reassigned to a special protection detail for several months, before being moved back to the 113th and the UNSC Iron Will. 

Coincidentally, he was the tallest member of his team when assigned to the 113th.
