How long have you been a member of the Covenant Faction?: Roughly a month, though I was initially whitelisted in 2017 but I didn't play and had to reapply this year.

What are some examples of good Covenant Roleplay that you have been a part of?:
Most of my rounds have been action based or being shown the ropes of the faction, but one of the best rounds I ever had that was heavy roleplay based was when we deployed a small fire team onto VT. It consisted of myself - a Skirmisher - a brute major along with a spirit troop carrier and a wraith gun carriage. ONI staff had setup inside the compound and a ONI guard was on the machine gun. The artefact was not located within the caverns so I tried to organise for the brute to disable the emplacement so we could take the marine alive and interrogate him for information.

The gun carriage injured them and I sprinted in before applying a stunprod and dragging them off behind the wraith and starting to restrain them. At this point a mech appeared from the base and charged us. It was however instantly destroyed by the gun carriage and the person within stumbled towards us, the ONI RD. I quickly baton'd and captured them. We extracted them along with another ONI Researcher however the researcher died and the marine ghosted. What led was over a hour of interrogation and general RP with the human resulting in us luring a Spartan onto the ship - which resulted in one death, my own - as two brutes and several unggoy quickly managed to overpower the spartan. It was probably the best experience I've had to date, given both sides actually RPed out and didn't just instantly bomb eachother's ships which led to the RD being released and the Spartan's body used as a trophy by the Brutes.

Do you understand that you can be removed from the whitelist at any given time, based on your behavior, even when not playing the role you applied for?: I understand this as well.

What do you think your job is as the role you are applying for?: Well, it is the shipmaster. They are the main commanding officer on the ship and are in control of it, and the assigned crew. They are there to ensure that the crew are acting to their orders and law, and are attempting to have the mission objectives be completed while keeping the ship intact, and any of the prophet's wishes made true to the best of their ability. They also control the on board plasma projector and when it should be utilised along with authorising the deployment of the antimatter bomb, and when needed, the destruction of the ship to prevent it falling into heretic hands. They can also speak GalComm, so unofficially I suppose they can handle interrogations, but it isn't in their job description per say.

Why should you be whitelisted?: Well, I like to think that we could always use shipmasters, double so for alternative timezones. I think that I should be whitelisted however as I want to help make the rounds more enjoyable. I want to help lead the faction to victory, but I also want to help lift up more roleplay in the faction. I've noticed that there is a lot of roleplay within the faction itself, but it is rare in inter-faction. I suppose that is mostly due to the server and setting, but there's a large opportunity to increase more. Like the above situation where the ONI RD was captured, interrogated and used as a lure was fun for everyone involved. I want to see more stuff like that, prisoners and interrogations and other things that could spice up a round and make it more enjoyable for everyone involved.

How does your character interact with the world around them and the people in it?: 

Civilians - "Lotta people go their lives oblivious to the oppression they suffer by the hands of the "United" Earth-Gov.. United my ass..  Half of them don't even know what this fuckin' civil war is about.. Good portion of the other half are vocal about what side they support but don't have the fuckin' balls to grab a rifle and prove that 'faith'. Y'know. I get why those "Freedom n' Liberation" army guys don't give a shit about casualties.. When the people we're trying to protect are so fuckin' brainwashed they'll call out our positions- Hell, I've seen those fuckers pull out weapons on us.. Yeah.. Then the media will paint us as fucking terrorists because we gunned down some patriotic fuck with a death-wish.. They never remark about when the UNSC guns down somebody for being vocally with the URF, or when they MAC a hospital because of suspicions: Or my favorite: Deployin' troops on a neutral city that'll gun some poor fucks who walk to close.. Yeah.. Try explaining that to those UNSC supporters..
In the end? I still got compassion for them. I'm a combat-medic nowadays.. If I didn't give a shit about them I certainly wouldn't be pullin' 'em out of rubble and ensuring they get triage if I was some heartless fuck.. Just hope someday we'll get out to them; that they'll stop seeing us as monsters.."


URF - "Brothers n' arms. I've been patching up these bastards for as long as ONI has had my name in black-ink.. Heh.. Yeah.. Lot of them couldn't screw a fuckin' lightbulb in but it doesn't mean they're not fightin' and bleedin' for nothing.. And the few of 'em that got their shit together? They're my family now.. Especially my THETA's... Yeah.. That project made me proud, that's for sure! Everytime I feel that visage of deja-vu and think we've blown up that god-forsaken Orbital-Platform.. Part of me can't help but feel proud of 'em like my own sons! Never got to be a father.. Guess this is the closest I'll ever get to being one."

I ain't religious but those who don the black-armor of the Sons pull miracles out of their asses every single fuckin' time they touch the ground... And for the egg-heads? Well. UNSC/ODSTs - "Average UNSC marine? Kids n' old men who think dyin' for the sake of dyin' is some form of honor.. No honor is having your brainmatter sprayed across a fuckin' sidewalk.. Part of me hates it when I've gotta put some poor bastard chokin' on his own lungs  down like a dog.. But that's the choice we all made. Fightin' for somethin' we believe in. There's an honor to that thought of it, I guess. As minuscule and petty as it is... Too bad they waste it all when they're so trigger-happy they kill anything with a fuckin' heartbeat on whatever planet they occupy.. As for those helljumpers? Y'know.. Before we had Jacob around, I'd had think every single one of those fucks was irredeemable. I've seen how mercilessly they gun down anything their "Brave" leaders tell them to... I don't even want to imagine those sick bastards exist in the slightest bit.. Yes, their tech gave us the THETA's... But to design human engineering? You know they had to have experimented on some poor bastard before finalizing that shit.. And the Blacksites lined in so much black-ink their real intentions are forgotten even to themselves? Yeah.. Devil wears a fuckin' triangle with an eye...

Provide a brief description of your character: Maverick is what most would call "unremarkable". Sanguine in nature until the situation dictates otherwise, Maverick is usually "harsh" towards newer members of the URF with an overbearing attitude, hawking over every action Insurrectionists underneath his watch in a "Tough-Love" manner, considering anyone under his wing as a "Kid, child" and for those who act out- " Fuckwit". Highly preferring surgical-strike tactics that are quick, decisive- and rarely ever exposing Insurrectionist forces to direct combat. Including the use of high-yield explosives and landmines to fortify locations of significance, long-range weapon systems, and even the occasional use of bioweapon to take out the foes to minimize losses in manpower. Not fearing the suffering caused by fighting "dirty" against foes. And while physically not covered in any scars or wounds of wars-pasts 'nor acting anything alike the more "colorful" members of the URF forces, Maverick isn't attempting to be anything more than he is: "That Doctor." suits him well enough. Always seen sporting a shaved head and a thick wildmens beard wrapped around a "Sweet Williams"-brand cigar-pen, usually filled with "High Nic" cartridges mixed with minute amounts of Talistan spice whenever available to compliment the rugged appearance. Complimented by commonly wearing a bomber jacket and vet's-hat duo, Maverick certainly dresses more for a "casual friday" rather than an actual battlefield medic or, when actually in the labs: A proper researcher..  Through, while preferring to lead from the backlines where he can watch over his troops: He has never shy'd away from doing wet-work and donning Heavy-based armor and his favored weapon system: The DMR. For the best way to save a life? Is taking the other guys before he gets the chance.

If i remember right, i was playing as a Military Police and was trying to arrest a marine that broke into the armory and after some attempts in using non-lethal methods to arrest him, i used lethal force.

Appeal details/ Why should you be unbanned:
At that specific day i was in a real shit mood for personnel reasons and snapped when that happened, after James called my attention to what i had done during the incident i accepted the punishment to be job banned with a 1 week ban, i was totally in the wrong in that situation.
I like playing cop roles in servers, not because of the authority, but because of the heavy RP that most the time come with the role, i play a lot of similar roles in others server so i have a pretty good understand about laws that security roles must enforce and how to enforce and i think i was a good GCPD player at the time, considering that GCPD did't had laws set like now, i was just a little poor as a MP, which too did't had marine law or ROE at the time if i remember well .
So to summarize, i want to play as GCPD because i like the RP that playing as GCPD give you and i will not do the same mistake or anything that would even resemble a mistake.

general character info: A loyal, heavy stepping Unggoy.  The very might of this single grunt could stand the test of time, facing off against the very heretics that block the Covenant's very path to the great journey.  Blarpdarp could stand against an army by himself, with but two sticky grenades.  His claws are sharp and scratch at the enemies of the prophets.  For him, nothing can possibly stand in his way, and he will destroy all, all by himself.  Or... that's how the story goes.

Reason for joining : Just really love halo, what can I say.  Grew up with it in my childhood, and I do my best to play it even now!  Love the story, the weapons, the creatures, everything.  This seems like a perfect place to experience what I felt once more, in a different perspective.

Appeal details/ Why should you be unbanned: Honestly I have no recollection of doing any of this. I just recently started playing SS13 again after a break and I saw this Halo server. The name definitely sounded familiar and I remember playing on a Halo server at around the same time in late 2017/early 2018. Despite this I take full responsibility for my actions and I feel that after being banned for more than a year I deserve a second chance. I'm relatively active in other SS13 communities and very rarely log out if an admin or someone pings me looking for answers (the only times being if I lose connection or a storm hits and thus I come back when I can). I definitely have RP experience and wouldn't normally go killing randoms for shits and giggles but we all make mistakes and from what is written I certainly seem to have made some. Thank you for your time and cheers!

general character info: Pablap is what some heretical naked-chimps, or split-jaw meanies would call "Lobotomized." or "Not having all the lights on upstairs." but, that is often thought about all Unggoys, where in reality, Pablap is at least moderately more intelligent then the average Unggoy, though only moderately. Pablap has managed to get himself to the highest Unggoy rank, through trials, tribulation, and begging and crying at the feet of his commanding officer, and as an Ultra, he manages to sometimes prevent the other grunts from charging headlong directly into a bullet. He is also somewhat novice at medicine, but only novice, so, comparing that to what other grunts are capable of, and then comparing that to the skills of an actual practitioner, he would fall some where between completely incapable, and completely novice. Pablap skils are numerous, a few examples being: He managed to figure out that if you hold the trigger on your plasma pistol, the shot charges up. He was quite proud to figure that one out. He also learned that if you hold back your tears in combat, you can really see the battlefield much more clearly. He's known for being able to cuss out the enemy (from a safe, non-lethal distance.) He can also burp his ABC's. 

Reason for joining : I've always been intrigued by the alien species in the Covenant, and have always played with the Elite model in multiplayer, so when i started playing this server, and saw you could play an Elite, I really wanted to get the whitelist, so, that's why. Really quite a simple reason, but, no more simple then most of the reasons given, really.

Roleplay Example/History: I've been playing various SS13 servers for around 7 months, and have also admined and hosted various different roleplay servers in a whole variety of games for some years. Namely, Garry's Mod, Minecraft, and so on. I've also been playing Halo for quite some time, and know a decent amount about the game's story and world.

general character info: Fisfis is a stupidly loyal unggoy and follows whatever anyone of the higher Covenant species tells him to do, even if will end with him dead. Also whenever a volunteer is needed he tries to be the first to volunteer, whether its fixing a breach or manning the ship scanner. Basically he tries to be a good example of an unggoy but can be held back by just not being smart enough.
Nux on the other hand sees being a Covenant soldier as more of a contract and isn't so driven, they do whats needed for the mission and not anything more. Still loyal but only avoids heresy out of it being the ship law, and doesn't submit to the sangheili so readily just keeping it as a sort of business relation between worker and boss. They talk a lot on the comms to give updates and make the mission go smoother.

Reason for joining: I tried around on the server with all the different jobs, URF, UNSC, ONI and I've gotta say I like playing the Covenant the best. In the two races a non Covenant whitelist can play it's fun to me how the game mechanics are put in and how they match up with the Halo games. Good contrast to having to deal with annoying shield jackals or grenade crazy grunts in them, now I can be them.

Roleplay Example/History: I have been playing SS13 since 2015 playing on most of the big servers from low to med to high RP and I've liked to compliment it with short little conversations or comments with the other crew members or soldiers. Decent experience with tabletop roleplaying too, but I haven't been able to play it consistently.

How long have you been a member of the Covenant Faction?: In total? I do not know, though considering I've been a part of it for quite a while back in the day, I'd say quite a bit. 

What are some examples of good Covenant Roleplay that you have been a part of?:
Recently I've had less and less opportunities to properly roleplay, but I've had my fair share of experiences, that I've shared in the past, like the duel on GC that I had mentioned in my faction application. 

Roughly put, every race has their own quirks when it comes to roleplay. The higher the rank of a being is within the covenant, the larger are the expectations of players and their characters. A shipmaster's supposed to be a highly intelligent, religious zealot and a proficient tactician that looks down upon any and all heretical behaviour, while going all out to maintain cohesion aboard their vessel.

Do you understand the Faction Rules?: Yes, I do.

Do you understand that you can be removed from the whitelist at any given time, based on your behavior, even when not playing the role you applied for?: Yes, I do. 

What do you think your job is as the role you are applying for?: I'm applying for a shipmaster, a very difficult to play role, due to the fact that it's a role that is in charge of both the main covenant vessel and every troop aboard it. They're supposed to keep the ship's integrity and it's crew at an acceptable level, to ensure their survival as a collective. 

Why should you be whitelisted?: I main command roles 80% of the time and so far I've never disappointed. On the covenant side I play Tiberus Faustus, an Elite Major with which I've achieved the faction a Major Victory probably more than once. On the UNSC side, I main the XO role, simply because it's the only high command role I have access to, and so far I've never managed to lose my ODP/Ship, regardless of who won the round. I'd say these are my two most notable characters as of late, they both have flavour texts and I've genuinely done my best to keep things both rule-friendly and at the same time make sure no one's bored.

A round which I consider a victory of mine as a UNSC XO, was during one of my most recent ones. With a rather small, yet decent crew, I captured the artifact and destroyed the covenant shipyard, before majorly crippling their ship and forcing them into slipspace until the end of the round.

A recent Covenant Major I achieved as my Elite Major, was when I was in charge of the ship as the only Elite on-board. We captured the artifact, raided ONI fairly quickly after stumbling upon it and then went after the UNSC ship. We destroyed the ODP, their support vessels, their shipyards and then crippled their ship to the point where everyone but their mac gunner were dead or had fled. We then captured their Nav chip and set off the antimatter bomb aboard the vessel.

I think I'm a good commander, a decent roleplayer too when given the opportunity. I am genuinely serious and I know what I'm applying for, so I'm not jumping into cold waters.
