general character info:Mrata 'Kagam is a young elite, who has recently finished his training, and is eager to fight the humans. He stands at about eight foot tall with a dark skin tone. Even though from the very childhood he had to obey the code of honor, for him it was always hindering the combat effectiveness. He will never stop trying to prove it to other elites especially the higher ranks.

Reason for joining : Covenant always fascinated me, in my point of view they have  much, much more charisma than the UNSC. And the reason for elite is that they are basically crusaders in space, and they just ooze with charisma and personality

Roleplay Example/History: Played a few rounds on your server, mainly assault marine, played a lot on Cm, Bay and TG
Relations with Unggoy:For him, they are an annoyance, but at the very least they can be useful as meatshield
Relations with Jiralhanae:He believes that their brutish nature and overagression will never allow them to become as effective as elites. And the single fact that they dare to question elites' position as the best warriors of covenant infuriates him.
Relations with Mgalekgolo: The only covenant species that he truly respects, as they are formidable warriors, whose view is not tainted by code of honor or primal rage
Relations with Kig'Yar: He believes them to be extremely useful as snipers and scouts, and therefore he tolerates them.

Do you understand the RoE?: Yes - only fire unless fired upon, don't risk the ship, and generally behave like a naval officer.

Do you understand that you are not above the law, and may be persecuted for not following the RoE?: Yes, the UNSC may effectively be a junta but it is still legally subjected to UEG civil law.

Do you understand that you can be removed from the whitelist at any given time, based on your behavior, even when not playing the role you applied for?: Yes, if Calgary makes dumb decisions/I play him stupidly - it only makes sense to be subject to review.

What do you think your job is as the role you are applying for?: The CO of the UNSC Bertels would be, according to my understanding, in charge of overseeing ship operations, coordinating personnel only within the ship, ensuring that the ship is functional/not at risk, ensuring potential Prisoners are safe/secure, making a determination on where the ship is headed/who is deploying where, and coordinating with the Marine Platoon lead on deployments - also, I understand the Captain has direct say on when ODST's deploy.

Why should you be whitelisted?: Because there is usually a lack of officers on the Bertels and a corresponding lack of coordination between UNSC players - particularly the marines. Accordingly, bad calls are made, RoE is typically broken, and RP/rounds get disrupted. I'm not saying Rains could fully stop it but he could go a long way to mitigate it.

general character info - Calgary is, by all accounts, an old sailor of the contemporary era. What started as a family business in the Inner Colonies piloting commercial vessels graduated into captainship. Careful maneuvering and professionalism led to his interest and active recruitment by the UNSC. Connections in mid-level places saw him attend the prestigous Luna Naval academy where-upon he graduated with acceptable marks. As a junior officer, his outlook looks bright for the helm once more; however, he has his sights set on the Captain's Chair no doubt.

Reason for joining - Willing to take the reigns and coordinate the Bertles. No more power-gaming and barking orders as an E-1 unlegitly.

Reason for joining: I'm mainly playing as UNSC characters, thus found it would be a good idea to apply for the actual role.

general character info: A T'vaoan female of moderate height and build, standing at 6,4. (Without access to the in-game character editor i'm not aware of whether or not the spines/feathers of a jackel or T'vaoan can be edited.) With maroon colored feathers.

Reason for joining : I played a few rounds in which the Covenant players were both some of the most dangerous, but simultaneously most interesting characters to encounter. From the honorable (or sometimes rather incompetent) elites, to the more pragmatic jackels.  Given that many times so far the covies have shown up during flood invasions or other events and saved lives, they seem more enjoyable to RP than the usual colonist or insurrectionist.

Roleplay Example/History: Normally I play Blake Tenrano, a Outer Colonies citizen. By trade she is a mercenary, selling her skill to the highest bidder, and more often than not ends up serving as backup to the colonial marshals, if not the law in total at times.

I try not to S2K unless given no choice, and it ends with me taking fire quite a bit. But normally I can find a way to get through most encounters without them resulting in a gunfight.

More depth with factions details IE: In terms of roles, I'd likely try and take on the activites of a T'vaoan scout, or assault specialist when a Shipmaster/Mistress position is unavailble. Though my character would have less than avid thoughts about the Prophets of Truth, Mercy, and Regret. Following the stereotype of the Mercenary Jackal.

In the event I get a Shipmistress position, i'd focus on scouting out the nearby planets in the system, scouring them for valuable artifacts that could be sold for profit in the holy streets of High Charity, or otherwise gathering information that could be of value to the Covenant Empire, or to my-(the characters)-self.  

Generally attempting to avoid conflict with the local UNSC or Insurrectionist forces, and only engaging in combat as a last resort, in the event subterfuge has failed.


In any event, I'd enjoy the chance to take on the role of one of the Holy Covenant's warriors and look forward to whatever reply is made in regards to this thread.

Character(s): Aiden Mason

How does your character interact with the world around them and the people in it?: Aiden Mason can be the type of guy who can be all peppy and energetic the one minute and depressing the next from losing his crew mates and friends. His family 

Provide a brief description of your character: Aiden was born in the Sol System but moved away from Earth around the age of 16 to go to work around the inner colonies. At around the age of 19 he enlisted with the promise of seeing lush environments and seeing the stars but do to his dismay he was usually deployed on ice worlds that are barren with little to no human colonies on said worlds thus he forms tight bonds with his squad mates and crew mates, whenever he gets assigned a new post he will always dearly miss the ones he called family thus he has many many photo albums that have always kept him company during dark times, remembering the friends he missed, the ones he loved, and the ones who acted like parents to him. He may have been born in Sol but that didn't mean his family was rich in money instead his family has always taught him to be rich in kindness, making sure even the ones who crossed him would still get fair treatment from him, he was also an honorable for what his family taught him he always played fair during a fair fight and fought fair even in a dirty fight.

First I'm going to address why the covenant players believe ODSTs are overpowered.

As the ODST side is concerned they were picked for their skills, so they are generally robust, the Armour is a bit stronger than the normal marine Armour but is not that op. For the covenants we either miss or their armour is actually overpowered, so in short we need something to combat the overpowered odsts as they are hell bent trained to be robust.

Secondly according to my knowledge we don't have leadership or any advanced units at this point in time.

Right now the problem with Covenants is that we have no leadership, we do at some points but not much to actually combat forces. as now in First Contact we should be more threatening considering in lore we are quite a advanced faction. It would be great if we could receive training in leadership and in combat.

Lastly, due to most of the complaints ive seen also because of odsts, we need training.

ODSTs have training, or they learn off their robust pals, i believe we should be balanced and receive training as we never use formations or good tactics.

Reason for joining : The server, I seen it on the hub and when I looked in and messed around was quite impressed with all the stuff you lot have put into making it. The UNSC, Prefer playing on the 'good' side, and don't really wana play on the aliens because everyone knows Bullets > Energy weapons.
