How long have you been a member of the Covenant Faction? About 4 months or so


Do you understand the restrictions that Honour Guards have placed on them?:  I do. They are not front line combatants. They are not to charge blindly into battle. They are a last resort and stalwart to protect the Prophet at all costs, even if that means their life.


Do you understand that you are not above the Covenant law, and may be persecuted for not following the RoE?: I fully expect punishment for breaking any rules regarding Covenant law and RoE.


Do you understand that you can be removed from the whitelist at any given time, based on your behaviour, even when not playing the role you applied for?: Of course I expect it.


Situation:


Your fellow Honour Guard has been killed, as well as your prophet, by a human. You saw the human do this and follow him to find a group of humans. After engaging, you manage to kill the offending human, but the others manage to retreat where you could easily follow. What do you do next? Given I have slain my target I would announce to the rest of the Covenant Forces that the killer of the Prophet is slain yet in that small victory I have dishonored myself beyond salvation. If there is a Shipmaster on hand I would speak to them, speaking to understand the situation and state that I am to return to the Vanguard. If there is no shipmaster I would find a quiet spot and then of course state that my honor is in tatters and ruins and that I am to slay myself. I would then commit honorable sacrifice to regain what little honor I can for the greater good.


Why should you be whitelisted?: I believe I would make a good candidate to be whitelisted for Honor Guard as the role itself relies much on being able to follow combat and properly be a body guard, but also that it requires a strong sense of roleplay and understanding of the Covenant emotion and feeling. Honor Guard are fanatical for the Great Journey, they are the best of the best both in skill and their devotion to the path in which all Sangheili walk. I am understanding of the role in which I am requesting and will follow it thoroughly.

Full ban reason: "As an unggoy minor, lit the nuke, then SSD;d in a surgery room when potato asked him about it" 

Appeal details/ Why should you be unbanned: Was wandering around unsure of where to go or what to do, accidentally lit the nuke and then disarmed it before my power cut off due to lightning. Literally my first time on the server and the second attempt to find a way off the covenant ship. First ended with me falling out into the space, the second had me accidentally setting off a nuke. I can understand how it looks but none of this was my intent.

Personally, I think the most important thing about moderating is: Moderation is directly tied into the name. To be that of a moderator is to make sure that the game is going smoothly and that the players are all working to achieve their desired effect of roleplay. A moderator is someone that can make sure that everyone is having fun, to make sure everything goes smoothly, and that above all else, order is kept mostly intact. A moderator is also more than just someone that as the name suggests and that I have earlier stated, moderate the game.


 A moderator is a member of the community that one can look to as someone they can trust, that they know what they are doing. While not infallible, they know how to keep their cool, how to be a fun member of the community, and above all else: show respect to the community in which they serve.

Low RP, fired upon the URFC Avarice as a member of the UNSC wordlessly, with no attempt to any prisoner.

Appeal details/ Why should you be unbanned: 
The reason why I fired upon the Avarice with the MAC was because once it appeared on my screen it still went towards us without any attempt at communication or wait for anyone to say anything, in my mind I've these scenarios before of where the URF just board the ship with a bunch of SoE's and sabotage the ship by making it dark by removing light bulbs/messing with electrical equipment/ or cause atmos issues to gain and advantage against the UNSC (which is very effective btw). This time my only defence against a mostly likely boarding party is myself who is the only ODST present and a small group of marine of which the players of them are new therefor have little to no clue of the layout of the ship and lack combat experience especially when place in a disadvantage.
So I had two choices 
A: Try to communicate by typing in system comms and risk getting boarded by a bunch of SoE's, have the HA easily hijack and see the UNSC base get blown up
or
B: Use the MAC and avoid a very shitty senario completely 
Also if not mistaken that round was on invasion

Appeal details/ Why should you be unbanned: I originally wanted to post this on my 1 month anniversary following the ban, however, due to a huge mistake I've been responsible for, I didn't think I deserved to come back. To be fair, I still have those doubts in my mind, that I don't deserve to play following what I did, and I still agree. The stupidity I pulled resulted in me temporarily being forum banned, and I wanted to thank you for giving me a third chance (when really, I shouldn't deserve one)

Infact, this ban has really helped me get a rest from Halostation, as 6 months prior, this was the only server I really played for SS13, but in the month I've been gone, I've found plenty of new and fun servers. It's also helped me recover from my burnout of consistently playing halostation, where I just couldn't find this server fun anymore from overexposure. I've heard about the plethora of new features, like the slipspace drive and invasion gamemode, as well as chucked at a few halostation reddit memes. 

However, the point still stands. I did something truly regrettable, from my less then ideal actions back in the past, twice. There are many things that I would like to do differently back then, but I can't. The only thing I can change is the present me, and that's what I'm gonna be focused on.

Whilst it isn't much, I've given my apology to the main victim of my stupidity. We're both on good terms with each other now, following the ban, and I wish for that to remain indefinitely 


I really wish I could do more to showcase my effort towards improvement, but I can't do so with images alone. I probably don't deserve it, but with for a 3rd chance to prove myself. I completely understand if and why you would wish to deny that, and I'll have no problems with you doing so. I love halostation, and have given 6 months of my life playing it. I can only wish to do so again.
