What do you think your job is as the role you are applying for?: The UNSC CO isn't the hand on guy for the marines and should be more concerd about his ship and overall the sectors and objectives. He's meant to use the PL, and PS to carry out his orders so he doesn't have to leave the ship, he's also not a combat role or a low rp role. Being the CO means you're overseeing the battle in your sector, and you have to make decesions that people may not be happy with but you feel are needed, but you need to remember this is a game and doing the fun thing might be better then doing the harder winning objective. You may also need to remove people that pick command roles but don't know what they're doing, and you always listen to people if you're making decsions that involve them.

Why should you be whitelisted?: There is currently a massive lack of CO's in the UNSC, a massive lack of them. I'm not going to be the perfect CO and I still need to improve before I get near being perfect, but it's better then having an E-5 inchage of all of the UNSC forces.

Example: The Covenant was given a massive buff for balance, raising shield strength. However the UNSC is raising pitchforks because now their ship is being blown to bits more often. The URF has decided to jump on this as well. UNSC and URF players are now messaging you to bring this up to the staff.

In-character name: Mux

general character info: Formerly from T'avo his upbringing was rather average for most T'avoen. His working life started with just odd jobs around T'avo, mainly basic labor for the most part. It was this time Mux grew a wish to find his riches in the stars like many Kig-Yar before him. Moving into working on a raider ship it did not take long for the covenant to make a good offer for his employment in their army.


Mux is a product of his races disinterest in the covenant religion, knowing only glimpses into the covenant faith but not buying much of it at all, not that he is stupid enough to ever admit it around his new employers. His outlook however is vastly materialistic with only interest in his payments, food and maybe spoils of war if he finds something worth the risk of his new leaders ill will. However his other main objective is to survive long enough to be payed.

Mux's combat ability however could be questioned, while is natural agility does help he is not the best shot in the covenant, something he is too prideful to admit. Mux prefers a long range rifle and exit plan more then anything else if combat can not be avoided, if avoidable though he will use every excuse to get out of the fireing-line. He is self-centered and will show scant effort helping someone, and if he does he will suspect something in return.

Mux's free time is normally filled with basic dug making and use. More often then not if given free time he will try and sell his badly made pills in effort to try and make a few extra bits of shiny. Normally it does not work out.

Reason for joining : I have mainly been playing the other Kig-Yar race, Ruutian, and wanted to play a differing approach to combat, that and the new rolling update seems kind of fun and want to test it on T'avon. This is more to broaden my covenant experience and play a race I somewhat used to play when they were not whitelisted.

Roleplay Example/History: I have been RPing for roughly seven years, maybe even more. I started out in Gmods Half-life RP community, I spent more then three years there before moving on to SS13 and a few other platforms. My original RP server for SS13 was paradise station about three years back (I know, not a high bar but back then it was not just re-branded hippy). I have been playing this server on and off for only a few months though.

general character info: Born on a mining colony in the Hydra System, and though he spent his youth learning within the industrial sector, Gavin was eventually pressed into service due to the growing need of soldiers in the war. Despite conscription, he strives to be a good Marine and fights for those brothers and sisters among him. Usually tries to find a joke in dire situations, often much to the dismay to those around him.

Which role is your character's main(ex: Technician, Marine, etc): Marine, typically heavy machine gunner. Will sometimes roll ONI Security with a random last name.

Reason for joining: I enjoy UNSC lore and gameplay, and when I join a game or server with Halo flavor, I always find myself in it. I aim to eventually join the ODST.

In-character name: Cip Kep

general character info: Cip Kep is a T'vaoan Kig-yar who lived their early life as a crewmember on a privateer vessel in the vicinity of T'vao, who later on joined the Covenant first as a mercenary, and later as a more full-fledged member. Though they carry themselves as one faithful, Cip's origin does show in their concern over material things such as wealth being as prevalent as faith, "As a matter of pragmatism". Though they are without doubt loyal to the Covenant, at the same time, Cip can be a little disagreeable with their peers; grumpy, easily upset, snappy, and aggressive- at least when it is safe to be. It has not offered much impediment to their ability to perform their duties, yet it is noticeable enough to sour the moods of those who have to work with Cip. Fortunately, these unagreeable tendencies are kept in control enough to prevent unprovoked or unwarranted incidents, unless you consider being glared at for unknown reasons to be a manner of toxic offense. Cip does seem to have a favorable preference for making peers of other T'vaoan and occasionally Sangheili however- though looks upon Unggoy and even Ruutians with a bit less fondness.

Cip Kep seems to prefer staying shipside and attending naval duties, and has also been known to experiment with chemical and medical materials when not being watched, likely to self-train for a role of handling such things. When made to go groundside however or take up arms for violent encounters in general, Cip seems to have one of two preferences; Being far away from the enemy and poking them to death with a Carbine or similar ranged weapons, or getting right up in their faces to promptly maul them.

Reason for joining : In the earlier days of this server I played Covvie-side on this same character. I have been absent for a long time however, and my whitelist was purged. Bobby's trying to come back home to mom and dad from the war, and if you don't know what I mean by that, I mean "I want back in because I like being covenant and I like to think I can actually be useful in practical ways".

Roleplay Example/History: I've been doing roleplay for over five years now. Though my earlier roleplay history was pretty shoddy, I feel like I've made substantial improvements in how I write and react to events that occur. I also know how to stay within my own ability and boundaries, in respect of what I'm capable of in-game and in-character-ly alike. Though I am rather rusty on the scene of SS13 due to my prolonged absence, I have been able to gradually pick myself up well enough so far.

General character info: Kevin Ringer was born into a militaristic family. After serving for years as an ODST, he realized how foolish he was, and he defected to the URF.

Reason for joining : I've tried UNSC and found that it wasn't what I expected to be, I was often on the defensive, I was an LCPL ODST. I always found myself manning ship guns, and I realized how much fun it was to be using guerilla tactics to fight the UNSC and take GC. I also enjoy the away missions, and lowpop teamwork that you never find in the other factions.
