What are some examples of good Covenant Roleplay that you have been a part of?
I currently don't have any good examples of covenant roleplay to say, as there isn't really much other then standard roleplaying as what you are.

Yes, I understand the Rules of Engagement fully.

I understand this fully.

Yes.

What do you think your job is as the role you are applying for?
I believe the shipmaster is the military leader, with the addition of the prophet, they are technically 2iC, but when the prophet is not there, and even while they are, they are the ships captain, they cannot abandon it, and they are honour bound to their vessel in a similar way that the honour guards are to the prophet, they coordinate the efforts of the military forces of the covenant in the sector, under the prophets orders, simply put, the prophet will tell the shipmaster what they want done, the shipmaster will coordinate the forces and ensure that this happens, in the lack of a prophet, they will do their objectives.

Why should you be whitelisted?
I like to believe that I am a good roleplayer, and I also know we currently lack shipmaster players, and believe that I'd be a massive contribution to gameplay when I decide to play shipmaster, I also know that I can follow these strict rules, as shown by the fact I was accepted as an honour guard recently as well, I also fairly understand the job of the shipmaster, and would probably enjoy such a role to play as. I also believe that I have the skills required to play shipmaster, and that I can help to bring enjoyment to the rounds i'm in.

general character info: Hegiga is a Mgalekgolo who loves to read poetry in its spare time, never aloud, and enjoys bonding with the littlest of the Covenant race, despite their inferiority. Its the Inferiority that it finds so charming about the lower races.

Reason for joining : A friend told me that this variant of SS13 existed, and I've been looking for an RP game that isn't just about having bullshit stats and being on the longest to be able to do anything worthwhile. Plus, despite my lack of knowledge on SS13 I still find it fun when I play. And I do like Halo, so its a win win for me.

Roleplay Example/History: When I first started Roleplaying, I began on Roleplay Engine on Byond, which was a text only RP game. I started out rough, but RP became my bread and butter over the years before that game shut down, then I moved onto RPU [Roleplay Unlimited] until that shut down as well. Then I migrated from other games like SS13, Sigrogana Legends, and other random RP games that normally died every so often and quickly.

Reason for joining : The UNSC are really bad at their jobs and colonies are wiped out frequently by the covenant Im joining to protect the colonists and Sabotage the UNSC.

general character info: Gak Mor'osh is a Tvoan Kig-Yar. Like most Kig Yar, She mostly spends her time trading and raiding derelicts. Gak Mo'rosh is very self-serving and puts her own well-being over that of others.

Reason for joining: I played the Tvoan Kig-yar while it was unwhitelisted due to a glitch. So, I'm applying to be able to play my Kig-Yar once again.

Roleplay Example/History: I've been playing SS13 for the past 6 or 7 months. I typically played Baystation because I enjoy the High-RP environment and enjoy the character creation/developement that comes along with it. Other than SS13, I've played DND and a bit of Gmod serious roleplay. However, a friend of mine introduced me to Halo station and I found it to be pretty damn fun; For the most part, I played as a Marine corpsman, but decided playing the Covenant would be a lot more fun, so uh. yeet.

     Firstly I’d like to thank everyone who’s been with us on this path and turbulent journey so far, secondly we’re planning the next server canon event as a means to push the server lore more  and show off our new features and additions to the public! The date and time of this event shall be Saturday May 18th at 11 am CDT ! Reason for joining : I've been following the server for a long time now, even before whitelists were a thing, and I am coming back due to re-discovering this a few weeks ago. The UNSC's art style has always been something I loved and I like the naval combat aspect this server has that is practically unmatched.

general character info:
Var is a Sangheili Zealot whom lives and dies by the command of those under his protection. When required, he will gladly give his life to protect the Prophets unless there's another way. He will usually use Unggoys as possible distractions, that way it can give time for a Minister or Prophet to retreat to safety. If a Prophet has no requirement for him, then he will talk with the shipmaster, asking if there's anywhere he's needed. He will usually lead from the front to show that he would not send his fellow subordinates into a situation where he himself would not go. He was trained on Sanghelios and has constantly been seeking to prove his loyalty to the Prophets, and in his mind, that would be easily achieved by protecting and giving his life for them. He hopes to achieve death while giving his life to protect the Prophets, fore he believes any other death would be dishonourable. He vastly respects the honour code but his pride can usually get the better of him. Var believes the Great Journey to be something which will be achieved in his lifetime and wishes to be with the Prophets once it is achieved. Before the Great Journey comes, Var wishes to prove his worth to the Prophets, attempting to become their Honour Guard. Other Sangheili may see it as a ceremonial role, but he himself sees it as a way to prove his worth to the Covenant and Prophets as a whole. 
(Var will be a Sangheili Major if Zealot is unavailable since it's not always on every round.)

Reason for joining : 
As a kid, Halo was practically my childhood. Since then, I've been looking to hopefully find a Halo RP game upon which people can be marines or members of the Covenant. Other than that, I find the Covenant is much more fanatic in their cause, and that playing as a fanatic would be quite enjoyable over the usual marine play.

Roleplay Example/History: 
I've been playing plenty of SS13, most being in the Medium-High RP ranges. Some servers being Aurora, Baystation, CM, and Leben. I've also played other RPG games which aren't exactly as expansive in the choices you can make, but they're there, such as Skyrim and Fallout. Along with those, I've also played D&D and some CK2 which isn't the most expansive in RP, but it has its moments.

More depth with factions details IE:

Unggoy: Var sees them as useful decoys and lethal when in large capacity. When leading groups of Unggoy he will usually attempt to have them present themselves quite loudly, that way the marines focus solely on them, allowing other forces to flank and eradicate the enemy forces. He'll treat the Unggoy as simply walking corpses unless they prove themselves in combat and have survived multiple engagements. Otherwise, He'll believe they're nothing more than that.

Kig-Yar: He believes them to be quite efficient in long-range combat, and will usually attempting to place them further back in a frontal conflict. He will usually treat the Kig-Yar with decency, but nothing further than that.

Jiralhanae: Var has a large distaste for them, and will attempt to send them in the Vanguard to hopefully create the most damage, and die in the progress. He is quite untrustworthy of the large brutes and sees them no more than entitled animals. If Var finds one who is sufficiently respectable he may act nicely to them, otherwise, he'll usually treat them as the animal they are.

San'Shyuum: Var holds them with the utmost respect possible and will protect those amongst them who are Prophets with his life. He is close to almost blindly loyal to them and will hear the Prophets' word as law.

What do you think your job is as the role you are applying for? The CO is the captain of the Bertels. The Commanding Officer is in charge of overseeing ground and space operations as well as make sure everything is in syncopation with protocol. They are to ensure that VT9 remains both a secret and unexplored as well as make sure Crescent Base is at all times unknown by the general population. If the URF does show up, to also neutralize the hostile faction to keep the system under UNSC control.

Why should you be whitelisted? I have played the CO role prior to the whitelist, Prescott being designed for said role. As an ODST I have shown to be competent in situations and keep a level head. The CO role is something I consider to be very serious and vital the how the UNSC performs. An incompetent CO would lead to the UNSC flopping. I have read up on proper Naval protocol especially of what to say over radios to ships and craft both within and outside the fleet and know how to properly address all space worthy vehicles in a nonhostile manner, as opposed to those who use lethal force as a means to entice cooperation. Also I was CO before, so I have experience being in command.
