Summary: introducing a verb that sets your layer to 0 (or if that's used for something else then the layer below everything.) to hide it so you can just relax and watch the battles without your ghost getting in the way.

Summary:Â being able to zoom out further as a ghost just so you can see a full battle taking place would be some nice QOL. In regards of how far I'll leave that down to you.

Currently ONI is in a really awkward situation of being an interesting Rp role and being rather dull due to a lack of any interactions with the other factions or anybody else. I'll probably mention this quite a lot but there really aren't many players wanting to play ONI either unless it's late into the round as then there's a chance that the base might be raided.
Let me reiterate that RP wise ONI is brilliant it's just that for example if you play a guard/ guard leader your job is to just stare at sand for 40 minutes, if you have a fellow guard (most of the time you won't until late into the round when someone respawns as ONI) it's alright but it's still dull compared to playing any of the other faction roles. Additionally you can spawn round start as a guard but have no researchers so your existence is pretty much moot besides defending an empty facility.
Researchers/Director, they've got research to complete and the can RP with the guards, go out to the mine and explore. Great stuff, however once they've researched their whacky new contraption of death they lack anybody to use it on because it's not like they can go off world to fight.
Idea Number One:
So I'd like to propose something to liven up playing as an ONI role:
-Hostile mobs attacking the outpost. (whether it be flood, some bugs etc.)
It's a simple gesture but I believe it could help with the current issue with playing as any of the ONI roles right now.
By adding hostile mobs it means:
- Even if there's one guard oni player and nobody else they still have something to do and not just go ssd after a few moments of trying to rp with themselves.
- Hopefully would encourage more players to want to play ONI.
- researchers get to field test their weapons against an actual foe instead of cardboard.
- Doesn't need to rely on other factions wanting to land and interact or
I mean it's not exactly a fix it's more of a bandaid to help make the roles a bit more fun.
Idea Number Two:
Have ONI be actively involved on KS7 with a temporary (tent like) outpost so the researchers can explore the remains of KS7 for artefacts and the guards are always on an escort/defence order in a highly active area for all factions meaning more RP interactions. The issue would then be KT9 and what to do with spawns there.
I'm just throwing ideas out and hoping that some of you chaps will as well to help improve the ONI roles.

Summary: Additional cigarette vendors added to the ONI base. Probably just one in the barracks bar/canteen and one added into the lvl2 break room.
As it stands there only seems to be one on the outpost and that's the hangar one which is underground and rather out of the way.

general character info: Yuzyuz is a Covenant Deacon, primarily interested in ensuring the continued survival and glorious salvation of his fellow Unggoy. He has no room for failure, and does not see a problem with more physical punishment should the grunts under his command fail, show cowardice, or generally act in a way that contradicts the Great Journey.
Reason for joining : I want to chant the glory of the Covenant in a role that is actually intended to be doing such at almost all times, alongside being a leader. The technology, while interesting, is not the primary reason for my wanting to join; More along the roleplay associated with a position such as this.
Roleplay Example/History: Been roleplaying for about 8 years across several different games and communities. Primarily on games other than SS13, but i have been a Bay player since 2014-15 or so, though I keep my head down a majority of the time.

What do you think your job is as the role you are applying for?: The command positions in the UNSC are vital to the flow of the round (Company positions and CO) and are whitelisted for a reason, so only those who prove they are wiling to put effort in to make the round fun for others by being competent in leadership abilities and basic understanding of the military command structure. The role of the Commanding officer for example is to command the vessel they have been given and coordinate between the crew, ODST's and marines to ensure the task is completed.
Why should you be whitelisted?: I think I should receive the whitelist because I think I have what it takes to make the round enjoyable for others. I played awhile ago before the whitelists and rediscovered the server a few weeks ago and have been playing ever since. I also wanted to apply due to the lack of command players and this leads to a major breakdown in not only enjoy-ability for the UNSC but the viability for the UNSC as they rely on teamwork and coordination to succeed.

It's been almost a year, and im not too clear on the details from back then. I know what I did was bad obviously no one does that and thinks it's ok for any reason. I'm not going to defend my actions I just want a chance to really play the game.
Side Note: I think I was just messing around honestly going out of my way to blatantly kill people for no reason in game all the time isn't what im about especially these days.

Reasoning: Getfeur, aka Blaze, is one of those players I deem it necessary to have MPs. Even if I am an O-5 and the Captain of the Bertels they won't see me as a authority.
During the cannon round, Blaze operated separately to my orders despite not receiving the go-ahead to. As the Bertels Corpsman, his job was to work shipside on the wounded. While medical evacs were not common during the round due to the Covenant ship wrecking the Bertels while they sat above KS7, he still did not prepare any chemicals or set up anything else to make sure the medbays were set for use. He hung around the engineering bay, even when I asked for volunteers to get the phoron canisters off the ship during the pre-round. He did not attempt to get to a gun on the Bertels to help return fire when the fighting started. He didn't even move from engineering when we went to evacuate the wounded on KS7.
When the fighting started, he made no attempt to contribute to the fighting. Major Hill, Lieutenant Eckhart, and my Helmsman were all at combat stations trying to return fire while he did nothing except pitch us into slipspace without me even mentioning the drive. After that, he would not move from engineering, working to patch all the holes created by pulse lasers for the purpose of bringing back oxygen to the room. Even with a phoron leak on deck three, a disabled MAC cannon, and my orders to prepare to jump to KS7 to quickly evacuate the planet and pull out entirely. When taking an oxygen canister from engineering to help give air to the hangar the Marines were to land in, he screamed at me and even threw a crowbar in my direction, not knowing the oxygen can would have stopped it. When ordered to a gun to prepare for combat, he refused, stating that the Bertels had limited air and conserving it was more important, even when I gave him the information that we would be fighting the Covenant and that it would be a useless endeavour. When the helmsman went down to the medbay to get a popped lung treated, even announcing that he had one, Blaze made no attempt to help him. Rather, Major Hill would be the one to treat him. He would later go down to the planetside and go SSD during its defense, not even able to help contribute to defend the planet.
Recommended punishment: Taken out of the UNSC and job banned until he can act like he is a part of the Military and not some group project and to recognize authority and who they are.
I did not grab screenshots, but daPotato got confirmation when pulling up logs. I could not grab shots due to preoccupation with being CO.

Cash broke RP standards multiple times by disobeying direct orders from the XO without good reason, as well shows metagrudging behaviour by constantly attacking the XO whenever possible through the rounds. When faced with arrest charges didn't even try to explain her actions and immediately attempted to flee, and while brigged still did not bother to show why she did this.Â
Been happening for a while and while I feel people deserve chances, Cash showed to us he's unable to progress as player as he continuosly disrupts UNSC rounds and whines on LOOC when someone attempts to treat him, getting very hostile at times.Â
As the UNSC FL I want this person punished accordingly by his actions that only soils the faction's name.

So I played a round as a janitor this is the first time and when I went into the janitorial supplies room the supplies in the room are as followsÂ
-Â bio suitÂ
-Â janitorial cart
-Â mopÂ
-Â buckets to fill the cart
-Â 2 bottles of space cleaner
Whats missing isÂ
- trash bags for trash those pesky marine leave about
- Trash bin to dump the trash in since there is no disposals or furnace to burn stuff like biohazard waste (One of those big green ones I've seen on other servers or whatever is avaliable)
- 4 x wet floor signs as that is the max that can fit in the cart
- Light replacer
- 2 x Boxs of replacement lights or 1Â whatever makes sense
- Box of mousetraps(thought I doubt there would be mice on a immaculately clean vessel)
- Bear traps(For pests bigger than mice but also could be used to trap innies or covvies who board)
- Janitors belt(To hold all these wonderful supplies may want to recolour it as the standard one used on other servers is purple)
Also I suggest making the Janitorial supplies room only accessible by janitors simply because I went SSD for a few minutes about a hour, so into the round and someone decides to walk in and steal the biohazard suit which has a legitimate purpose why would a marine need a biohazard suit on a battlefield so it makes me wonder how many players have stolen it before.
