In-character name: Bernhab, the Unggoy Grunt (Minor/Major) Caryl Bernhaben, the UNSC Marine(Bertels Crew Member)
general character info: Xabern' Bexher
Reason for joining :
For my current time playing on the server, I've always been Bernhab, I applied and got accepted into the UNSC branch long before when the server was still starting up. UNSC never really got me playing a lot, since I find that my playstyle is more suited to covenant gameplay. True, that there are good roleplayers in the Covenant faction, but that is forgoing robustness. The way the Grunts are is what pulled me into the Covenant faction, these guys have been overlooked, suffered terribly at the hands of the Kig-Yar, but still made it through. All in all, the Covenant faction is a merry bunch of assorted factions, whilst the UNSC and URF are just plain humans who strive for differences.
Roleplay Example/History:
I've been playing as Bernhab solely in the Covenant faction, this little guy is an Unggoy born from their homeworld, shifted off as an egg and grown in the Covenant Empire from his youth. Bernhab is a cheery little guy that loves and likes to impress his 'Boss man'. Occassionally, he flails his arms when he's excited or worried. Bernhab adapted the typical grunt behavior, which is to be childish in any means (despite being a Major sometimes IC). He would scream "Yipee!" or "Waoo!" depending on the situation. His voice adds a comical vibe to the Covenant's Corvette.
general character info: 6'2, brown hair, Grey eyes. 22, Born on Mars
Which role is your character's main(ex: Technician, Marine, etc): Marine (was ODST before back before i left UNSC)
Reason for joining: Alex was born on mars into a military family. Both of his parents were officers and he followed the path of his Older brother Joe, deciding to enlist in the military. Alex in the beggining had his doubts in the UNSC and UEG but after the beggining of the Covenant-Human war decided it was a cause worth fighting for.
general character info:Â By the name of Veselin, this man appears to be in her Early Thirties. His calm voice exhibits tell-tale signs of the ailments of stress in his rasps, and his accent drips rather heavily of his bulgarian tongue. Assuming the common build of a soldier, from head to toe, he looks to be hitting 6'3", carrying with him the odour of an unwashed body and mild perspiration. He has mud brown eyes reddened from so little sleep and physical stress. Above his eyes are straight but rather bold eyebrows, and below are the dark and baggy results of borderline insomnia, burdening all of his expressions with a hellishly tired look for such an age.
Reason for joining : He's always been anti-globalism, something the UNSC embodies. He lost his country and it's history of victories and warfare, and as a nationalist with deep love for his country and it's people, he think the UNSC must be brought down, so a new giant can take it's place. In his biased opinion, the UNSC has failed in every attempt to push back the Covenant Empire and is ultimately not a permanent solution to the problems of humanity.
How does your character interact with the world around them and the people in it?: He is constantly looking and scanning the area for any potentially defensible positions or breach-able points in case of an emergency. He is a roughened person, and always makes his statements straight to the point. He values his team member’s lives just as much as his, and will do his best to make sure all of them come home alive.
Provide a brief description of your character: Erich Bishop was a mechanic for various civilian shuttles and vehicles in the inner colonies, eventually enlisting as a junior technician in the UNSC. His technical and combat expertise was quickly brought to the attention of his superiors and he was put into ODST candidate training. He was able to use his various tools and vast knowledge of engineering skills to the maximum level during his training, and was able to pass all of his tests, graduating ODST candidate training with the engineer designation. He often utilizes the M-90 or BR-55 as his primary, aswell as carrying a spare magnum in his pack.

General Character info: Ros 'Vratai was born to a line of Noble Warriors and well respected lineage. From the day he hatched, plans were set in motion for him to be something great, something better. As typical for his kind, he was born not knowing his Father- A respectable swordsman and Zealot. Instead, he was raised as others were- Working his way up the ladder. Despite knowing nothing of his father, he did know that he was born for something more. He always saw steps before him- More and more stairs to climb. Never a top to be reached. And as so, he worked his hardest, day in and day out, to become the greatest he could ever be.
He bore fruit when he grew, and quickly scanned through the ranks, making his way up to Major before he was called upon by the Special Operations Group, Silent Shadow. From there, his careed stayed as a Special-Operations Sanghelli, taking care with his mission assignments.
Personality wise, he is a bit of a lone wolf. Though he shows great bonds and kinsminship with his allies, he works best when partied up with only one other person, or alone. He has a certain respect for Unggoy compared to his brothers and sisters, seeing many of them as compelling warriors, and a great respect for the Huragok, and some part of him does want to one day have a proper conversation with one- Even if it seems decently impossible. He respects work ethic and strong morals, and has a great pride in his job and what he does- And an unwavering conviction on the battlefield.
Reason for joining : I don't really like how I'm treated in the UNSC. I feel like its a negative experience and it's no longer fun for me. I know the Covenant like to have fun, and while structured, they aren't so anal about things and don't mock eachother for their performances.Â
Plus, I really like playing Covenant. I'd really like to have fun there, and I love RPing with the Covenant players, who are all thrilling and interesting to RP with! <3
Date of ban: not sure -- server's not on the hub.Â
Length of ban: permanent
Full ban reason: not sure -- server's not on the hub. probably general shittery, garbage behavior, being a general cancer on the ss13 community, etcetera. there is no atoning for being the shitter i'm known as
Appeal details/ Why should you be unbanned: i do not think i should be unbanned for any reason other than that i have become a vastly less terrible version of myself. i have been told that i once "rocked the ss13 community". this is not a good thing -- it was a shitty period in my life where long hours bingeing ss13 while barely supporting my rent with my now-fiance bred a certain kind of shittery that i couldn't contain. i regret this juvenile state of being. i am now in the Air Force and consider myself a much more mature individual -- i've maintained a good presence on Bad Deathclaw, where i'm now being considered for adminship, and I am an active contributor to john oxford's TES13 project. that is all i can offer.Â
Full ban reason: invaded the ONI base with a bs reason (server is down as I'm posting this so can't get the exact reason)
Appeal details/ Why should you be unbanned:Â It was evidently, a very crazy round for everybody involved. Here is my side
So I spawn in as a normal UNSC marine, as was the majority of the server. I arm up and complete a briefing and some time later we run into a URF ship. We board the ship and there are 2-3 innies in it, we end up taking two of them prisoner (although one went SSD). Fast forward a little bit more and an elite boards the ship but gets hecked. This is the point where a lot of people started getting bored since we were stuck in space, unable to move since our engines suffered through an ion storm (something like that). So me and a couple others check on the only prisoner still awake. We start bullying him for fun and we eventually took him to the marine bathrooms and towel whipped him a whole bunch. We were eventually stopped by Jessica Weiss who then healed them up and brought them back to the holding cell (didn't know towel whipping was that lethal). After that I head to the armory and I see a headless Vanechka lying on the ground and Butch standing over them desperately explaining what happened. They were apparently fighting each other for fun and Butch accidentally picked up a gun and shot their head off, he then rested and said "I give myself to the law" or something.Â
As I'm taking him to a holding cell we get an announcement stating that an investigation team was coming to well.. investigate. It mentioned something about mistreatment of prisoners and such. The entire bertels crew was like "oh god oh fuck" and we ALL rushed to clean up the bertels and get rid of ANY evidence possible. So first we get Butch and send him on an escape pod along with some bodybags full of bullets and other stuff that was just lying around. We then go to briefing together and fabricate this elaborate story to cover all of our tracks, it involved the elite killing Vanechka and beating the URF prisoner senseless to the point he got massive brain damage. We then do our absolute best to distract and tie the ODST investigation team into our story. We eventually, one by one, escaped on escape pods onto the planet VT9, and this is where the juice happens.
So I land on VT9, with fear of being charged with warcrimes and desertion of the UNSC, I considered myself and the rest of the Bertel crew rogue. I landed right next to the communications relay and started building there. I then meet up with the other marines, Lother Jones, Beauford, and whoever else was involved. I had heard previously on comms that the ONI guards had fired upon Beauford, so I had assumed they were hostile. We all hatched this plan to takeover the ONI base. We broke in from the lower tunnel and DETAINED every guard/researcher we saw. From what I remember there were 3 guards we took prisoner. Nobody was shot afaik, we definitely took the peaceful route first. I should also mention, before our raid there was an announcement stating the Bertels crew were rogue and lethal force was going to be used on us. We all took that as our final straw and took matters into our own hands. To gain more leverage I went into the storage and nuke room to secure it, only for bargaining. I never actually planned on setting the nuke. And at that point I was banned.
Now why should I be unbanned? At first glance, seeing as we, UNSC marines invaded and took over the ONI base is a big no no. I completely understand why we were banned. Things got way out of hand even for the amount of roleplay and stuff that went into this round. I really enjoy playing here and will definitely act with more caution in the future.
General character info:Â Torchia was born on Madrigal, in the city of Castra and though he never knew his parents he did grow up with a marine named Drew who had adopted him off of the streets. Later on, in life he joined the UNSC to help fight the living nightmare that was the covenant, with the glassing of his home world he was spurred on to protect other planets from that fate as he failed to defend his, So he asked to be assigned to Cairo Station and remained there for many years. It was only in 2531 that he filed a transfer request to Deviance station and the UNSC BERTELS. In his words to "Get into the thick of it and take the fight to the enemy whilst stopping any further planets from being glassed."

5/27/2019 ~1:30AM. IC options exhausted, Streltsy logs Admin complaint. See Screenshot 6.
Summary:
G. Pawolski was encountered on two occasions sporting heavy weapons in a meta-gaming way. An M41 SSR launcher was used for close quarters combat because, as was quoted in Discord's Halostation server - "I mean yeah I use the rocket launcher I'm not saying it isn't busted (5/26/2017 10:31PM)" and "no big secret its stupid good (5/26/2019 10:31PM)." This was not once but twice, on two separate occasions (~1015PM 10/26/2019 and ~1:15AM 10/27/2019). Rockets were carried solely for the purpose of being 'busted' in the terms of IC damage with no other IC reason noted - no antitank purposes, no designs for antiair. This was not against heavily armored targets. This was not against covenant forces. This was against - one (1) URF regular and one (1) ONI security guard. According to the player's paraphrased reasons, it was solely for the purpose of metagaming - using overbearing weaponry known to knock players out of the round without IC justification purely to win an engagement. Therefore, I move to have the player momentarily blacklisted from UNSC roles. I won't ask for a ban but I want some punishment for using blatant, LRP metagaming to 'win the game' against other players trying to enjoy a roleplaying experience. This is poor sportsmanship, poor play style, and poor conduct.
