How does your character interact with the world around them and the people in it?: Nerissa isn't someone that takes pleasure in harming others. While she doesn't mind it at all, she tries to avoid it if possible. She is a medic. Before joining the URF as a doctor, she was a scientist, working for ONI, but what she saw made her hate the UNSC. The URF was just the right choice for her and she never regretted.

General character info: Katamee is an Elite Minor who specializes in marksman weaponry. Like his brethren, he despises humans, though he takes pleasure in watching them suffer and wouldn't feel bad capturing one just to torture it.

Reason for joining: I'm a Covenant sympathizer and love the Sangheili race. While I don't have that much tenure with this server I'd love to be able to play as them and learn how to wort!

Roleplay Example/History: Played on Baystation12 for about a year now and play on some other (non-SS13) roleplaying clients. I have a lot of experience with heavy and demanding roleplaying; I like being immersed in a setting that isn't my real life.

How does your character interact with the world around them and the people in it?:  Fairly routine and by the books Marine.  He’s fairly well read and enjoys the finer things in life, such as shotguns.  Well humored, and enjoys quoting old books.
 
Provide a brief description of your character: Survivor and veteran of the Battle of Geminus, where he assisted planet side forces in the defense of the city.  Part of the team that discovered a Covenant tracking device and assisted two Sierra level assets in the recovery of an unknown artifact.  Particularly adept with close quarters weaponry, and successfully fought several elites and won during the operation to recapture the city police building.

general character info: I plan on playing mainly T'Voans, but I want to try out other Covenant roles as well. When I play for the Covenant currently, I play Kig-Yar, usually in a mid range rifle role. I really like the Kig-Yar as pirates/marauders character that the lore provides for, so there's another option for a Covenant character to have more depth beyond the Great Journey. I'm also interested in trying out Sangheilis, both for the mechanics and the RP value. 

Reason for joining : I've played on the UNSC/ODST since I joined the server a bit over a year ago, and I've been interested in playing Covenant for a pretty long time. I really like Covenant lore, and I always enjoy playing as the non-whitelisted Covenant roles.

Roleplay Example/History: Like I said, I've been an ODST officer for a long time, and I'm a long time HRPer on Aurora. My main ODST character has a backstory and home planet in the Outer Colonies that matches lore. I care about keeping things fun and IC for everyone. I also have a history of helping out new players, as a longtime player of SS13. I'm excited for the relatively new experience of roleplaying as an alien!

Please answer these scenarios to the best of your ability, this is to gauge your playstyle in comparison to the other Spartans and to make sure you have a firm grasp of how a spartan is meant to operate, as well as how to best utilize the tools available to the UNSC.


1:The covenant have began scanning at the PD and are roughly 25% of the way through the scan. You are the only person geared up currently, but there is a sizable unit of marines who have just respawned. What do you do?
prepare a vehicle to move out with the support of the marines once they are geared up because UNSC fights better as a squad then as a lone soldier

2:You are the lone UNSC member currently on the site. You know of the covenant presence on the planet, estimating 2 elites and some unggoy. You are forced to attack them. How do you best use your skillset and abilities to do so? assume the covenant are out on the streets of Geminus City, and have no armored support.

prioritize taking out any grunts armed with heavy weaponry and use hit and run tactics to lead the covenant on a fight whilst picking them off slowly

3:There is an assualt on a strongly defended and reinforced covenant position which the marines and ODSTs cannot break through, however you know of a side passage which, whilst still guarded, is less defended than the front door, however it is guarded by a spirit on the roof which is locked down to provide reinforcements. How do you proceed? Assume there are no other roof access points on the map, but you have access to both the full vehicle and weapon compliment the UNSC starts with.


have the marines and odst keep up the frontal attack whilst i take c-12 and a assault rifle blow up the spirit at the side passage  and move to take out forces from behind whilst the marines attack from the front forcing the covenant forces to hold off a attack from both sides allowing the troops to use this to their advantage and punch through the front to support me if the covenant are out of reinforcements we should be able to fairly easily wipe out the forces if we work together.
