What happened

• I was muted for discussion that did not break any of the rules
  
• Koen muted me (and nobody else) for pursuing the discussion of politics (other people continued the conversation as well)
  
  
• Koen said as well that "posting pictures in general" was against the rules
  
• When asked why posting pictures in general was against the rules, they at first simply refused to answer, then copy pasted rule 1, and then when pointed out about how rule 1 said absolutely nothing about posting pictures in general, they said that the rules were "vague" and "open to leeway"
  
• When asked why political discussion was against the rules, they did not answer.
  
• When confronted, and asked to explain to me properly how I broke the rules, they "didn't like my attitude" and banned me.

Situation: 

Your fellow Honour Guard has been killed, as well as your prophet, by a human. You saw the human do this and follow him to find a group of humans. After engaging, you manage to kill the offending human, but the others manage to retreat where you could easily follow. What do you do next?

My job as Honor Guard is to protect the Prophet, with the Prophet dead and the offending human slain, I am now under the command of the Shipmaster, if there is no shipmaster I'm to guard the Vindictive Infraction due to the Vanguard's Mantle. I could easily chase down the heretics and cut them down.. First I'd ask the Shipmaster if there is orders for a dishonored Honor Guard, if there was no shipmaster then I'd probably rush headlong into the Marines to regain some honor back. If I survived then I'd go guard the Shipmaster/Vindictive and stand guard.



Why should you be whitelisted? This WL doesn't even exist does it? I'm just doing it cause James said I could meme around here. But if I do somehow get a WL and get to play - uh.. I'd like to guard Prophets.. I guess?

How long have you been a member of the Covenant Faction?: Few weeks, not long. Might be new, but in that time I've led more than a few victories for the Covenant as Ultra. 

What are some examples of good Covenant Roleplay that you have been a part of?: 
Seen a Major dishonor himself a few times during a round unintentionally by failing tasks, eventually it got to the point where Minors were trying to order the Major around, the Major allowed this to happen and further dishonored himself. Rather than continue to dishonor himself and doing general tardy things, he committed honorable suicide by throwing himself into space, then commited seppuku in ZG.
This isn't the best example, but it was pretty neat to watch play out, the Major just kept getting more and more depressed as the round went on.

Do you understand the RoE?: Yes. Made a Ahelp last night cause a marine broke RoE.

What do you think your job is as the role you are applying for?: 
Covenant Round Leader, as the Shipmaster I am in full command of the Vindictive Infraction and its crew. 
My job is to coordinate the Covenant Army in the 11 Tuari System, artifacts will be recovered and planets will be turned to glass. 
I can not step off the ship. 
I am the Captain, I will go down with the ship.

Why should you be whitelisted?: 
The Covenant kind of has a shortage of Shipmasters from the looks of things, I enjoy playing high ranking elites such as Ultra, but I'd like to eventually go up the ladder to Shipmaster, maybe even Prophet one day. Me getting this whitelist just brings more fun times for the Covenant, and death and destruction for other factions.

UNSC: The second he spots a marine with his scope he will wait till their alone a pellet them with DMR shots, if he spots an ODST he will try and give them IB or some broken bones atleast, or just gtfo to their ship and yeet their slipspace engine

Covenant: He will immediately run if he is seen, if he isnt he will sneak up on them and fuck their shit with his shotty

URF: As his allies and only friends he will do his best to protect and aid them, how ever if in doing so greatly endangers his own safety he will wait til the heat has died down to reveal himself, if he sees a URFC he will attempt to aid them in whatever task the are completing, from stealing nades from the commanders store, to stuffing covvies with le

How does your character interact with the world around them and the people in it?:
Very calm and collected in intense situations, he is generally very focused on objectives and managing everything under his control. He is incredibly loyal to his fellow marines, and will go out of his way to ensure that they end up safe, sometimes even placing himself in harms way. He has a particular distaste for the citizens of the Outer Colonies, especially when they get riled up, but has learned to control his anger after 12 hours of UNSC-sanctioned anger management classes after punching a colonist in the nose. He never personally encountered the covenant in a fight, but is anxious about the inevitability of it.

Provide a brief description of your character:
Dustin Simmons is an approximately 6'1" 23 year old male, and has blue eyes and bleach blond hair. Born on Earth, he enlisted in the UNSC Marine Corps after finishing college with a degree in Chemistry, partially out of hate for the rebellions on the outer colonies, partially because of his fondness of guns. During Boot Camp, he excelled in marksmanship and field survival courses, but struggled in his field engineering course, causing him to become a Marksman in his platoon. After boot camp, he attended a Marine Marksman Specialization camp, and successfully qualified for use of SRS99 Anti-Materiel rifle. Afterwards, he decided to enroll in the ODST Prior Enlistment program, in hopes of gaining membership into the elite ranks of the UNSC (and to fulfill his love of guns).

General character info: As far as his general performance in boot camp is concerned, he's nothing special - just another hot-blooded, gung-ho marine fresh out of it, eager to get out on the battlefield, to serve humanity, earn some glory or die a martyr alongside the rest. For the most part, that would be correct - he is, in fact, eager to serve and boot the threats to human life off this end of the galaxy, for all the time they've hounded them so far. But despite how it may seem, he actually does have more than a single brain cell and know how to use quite a bit more than just a gun.

Reason for joining: I'd ask if you really gotta ask, but if this is here, I guess you do. Well, I stumbled across this place a long while ago, but didn't know a thing about Halo, so I took my sweet time getting at least a little bit of info by playing through the first and second game. Only actually started playing here a couple of days ago, though. Personally, I find the idea of playing a human soldier more appealing than a zealously religious alien. Or a likely misguided rebel.

general character info: Yusuy is an all-rounder sort of grunt, he can shoot main guns, fight on the ground and do maintenance for the ship and a fervent believer in the Covenant's goals. Mak is a recon, quick and decisive with his sniper-rifle and while not as fervent as Yusuy, he would die for the Covenant should he need to. Ceretus is like all brutes, strong... he is brash and quick to make a decision but tactically minded when he's not blood-lusted and dislikes Elites. Tasze is like Ceretus in his brashness but thinks ahead more and is less likely to run in guns blazing, he will follow orders as best as he can and will voice opinions when his leaders need them, he is also more caring for the lesser castes of the Covenant than most other Sanghelli are.

Reason for joining :Halo is one of my favorite games and universes and I love to RP... SS13 holds a special place in my heart as a simple but exotic and at times plain awesome RP game and it's one of my favorite places to RP.

Roleplay Example/History: Yusuy and the original grunt I played were gunners and were part of a plan to attack the hostile colony, both did damage to hostile human ships and one laid their life down in defense of the ship.

General character info:
Zikan Sef 'Nasanmee is the heir to the Noble 'Nasan Clan, he served in the Covenant Army as a Sangheili Major on board the SDV Vindictive Infraction, under the Fleet of [REDACTED].

Before the Human Covenant War, Zikan 'Nasan was known to be a renowned swordsman and duelist, besting many in single combat as a youth. During his training in the Covenant Army, it is said that Zikan 'Nasan showed great leadership and field tactics, quickly he became top of his class and graduated with honors. After graduation he was given the opportunity to take further training to become an Honor Guard, but he turned the position down, feeling he could do more for the Great Journey on the front lines.

Months after, the Human Covenant War had begun.

Zikan Mun 'Nasanmee was among the first to land on Circinius IV, laying waste to countless Heretics, even briefly engaging a Demon and surviving to tell the tale. Soon the entire planet would fall and be turned to glass. Zikan would earn himself a promotion to Major soon after for playing a vital part in the attack.

Once the ash had settled Zikan Sef 'Nasanmee would be transferred to the SDV Vindictive Infraction, a scout ship that patrols the 11 Tauri System Heretic Outer Colonies.
And that's where the game begins.


Reason for joining:
I have been apart of this community for some time now. Was part of the UNSC when I first joined, eventually became an ODST and all that good jaz. Soon left the UNSC and joined the URF where I became the faction leader, had a good time with it, but I want to do something different.
I'd like to join the Covenant to get the full xeno experience. Been playing Unggoy a bit lately and I just wanna go all in, y'know?

So, starting from the top: Bad attitude. I think I've been over-aggressive towards civilians, ONI, URF-really everyone except other marines and some ODST's.This is quite shitty not to mention a pretty big flaw. Luckily, I believe I've managed to fix said flaw. Apologies to anyone unfortunate enough to have to deal with said flaw.

Secondly, one of the main things that got me banned; rushing unmanned ships back when they were the spawnpoints. Again, extremely shitty, and I won't do it again.

To cap it off, I'm sorry for being more than a bit of a dickhead, and I just want my old role back. Spent a good long while playin ship-side roles and being the aCO (even though I'm just a bloody bridge officer), but it doesn't really replace the fun of marine'ing.
