Abandoning Ship
You are ultimately responsible for the ship. The motto of the captain going down with his ship is still common however you are not expected to go down with your ship. You may leave if the ship has taken heavy damage and is crippled. However you should be the last to leave the ship and make sure that any intelligence that could be used by the enemy is destroyed before you leave yourself.
You are allowed to leave your ship if your presence is requested by ONI higher ups on the planet, this however is the only other time you should be leaving the ship.
