General character info: Sero is a extremely zealous Ranger Sangheili. He will generally hold respect for those who fight alongside them in the name of The Great Journey and will do his to insure that his objectives against the heretics are completed, even if it means his own life being lost. He generally prefers a more ranged Approach to combat, preferring a Covenant Carbine as his primary weapon. Though he will not be afraid to enter CQC and use his backup Plasma Rifle.

Reason for joining : I have been a fan of Halo since I was 6, and being able to play as a member of "The Bad Guys" seems really interesting. I also love some of the lore behind the Covenant as well. And just to be honest, playing as a Sangheili really appeals to me.

Roleplay Example/History: I have been playing Baystation 12 and CM SS13 for about the last 7 or so Months.

More depth with factions details IE: The Covenant is...well a covenant of races under the rule of the Prophets and the Elites (to a certain extent). They are highly fanatical and zealous organization who are currently embroiled in a war with Humanity due to them being Heretics (though in reality its because Humanity essentially shatters the entire Religion that the Prophets set up and benefit from).

Explain what you would do in the following scenarios and why:



Scenario 1:
You’re on the ONI Aegis and the ONI RD requests a Sierra team to deploy to VT9, as the covenant have been spotted and are attacking. They have not breached the gate and it is unclear as to the size of their forces. What do you do?



What I would do depends on many different factors, mainly being the size of both the covenant and UNSC/ONI forces at the base and getting a proper and clear objective from the research director. From this simple report, the deployment of a Sierra team is not warranted but if a large group of covenant forces deploy sometime later and there is a serious risk of ONI assets being destroyed or captured, then the deployment may be authorized.
      A Sierra team should not be deployed for one report of covenant forces near the base, and the research director presumably did not give any other important intel as to what the actual goal of the deployment would be. If the RD gave a report such as, “Requesting a Sierra team to VT9, there is a major covenant assault going on and they are about to steal ONI documents and are about to breach my office, our guards can’t hold them off!” then I would likely deploy down to the planet with the team. To put it short, I would not deploy from this simple description of covenant forces but if certain factors change later on, then I would likely deploy with the team if they gave the proper clearance and objectives.




Scenario 2:
You’re on the ONI Aegis and receive an urgent request from a Platoon Leader to deploy onto the UNSC Warship as the Insurrectionists have deployed a sizeable force and are taking control of the ship, and arming the nuclear device as they request assistance. What do you do?




I would first make sure the platoon leader is the aCO, and if an attempt has previously been made from the UNSC forces. If the platoon leader is the aCO at the time and he gives a proper objective for us to accomplish, such as ‘disarm the nuclear device’ or ‘secure/retrieve x and take them back to the Aegis’ then the deployment of a Sierra team would likely happen. The loss of a UNSC warship would be a great blow to the local forces, so regaining control of it would be a great objective for the team to accomplish. However, if the platoon leader is not the aCO at the time and there is no request from the proper commanding officer, then nothing is to be done about this situation and the request can be disregarded for the time. If we deployed from the request of a platoon leader who does not have a clear understanding of the whole situation, then our time and resources would be wasted which could have been put somewhere else.



Scenario 3:
You’ve been deployed on a mission to give the covenant back their bomb. You manage to arm the bomb, but your fellow spartan has been cut down and his body is being dragged away by the Covenant towards an escape pod. What do you do?



Retrieving the gear is first priority in this situation, and I would leave whatever position I am in and retrieve the gear. In a perfect situation, the bomb would be activated and I would likely use the escape pod with the body and make my way back to deposit the gear back on the Aegis. If the spartan gear falls into the covenant hands, a much worse outcome would likely come rather than if I chose to stay on the ship and defend the bomb. If I am the last remaining spartan in this situation, I would likely fax high command of what had happened and let them know that the gear is secure and the mission has failed.

General character information: Kib is a Kig-Yar of default species, highly faithful to the Prophets and Covenant ideology. Mostly prefering on-ship duty, he is a crew member that possesses no prejudice against the other races, and never underappreciates anybody based just on their race, being even supportive most of the time to others.

Reason for joining: I like the Covenant side more than UNSC or any other faction, because it's religious and multi-race culture interests me more than anything of the same nature, which makes interesting possibilities for me, as well as it's aesthetics.

Roleplay example/history: I played mainly on medium RP servers before, and a bit on high RP, though not for long. I am able to do general RP, participate in RP situations, can study the lore required behind server's theme etc.

More depth with faction's details: Covenant is a space empire founded by two races - San'Shyuum and Sangheili after the long war between each other. It's ideology is based around the legacy of the race named Forerunners that once inhabited the galaxy and left behind a lot of artifacts and technologies after vanishing. Not a single change is allowed in the design of Forerunner's designs, due to then being considered holy and untouchable, which leads Covenant to having a lot of technologies they gathered being used not to the fullest potential. It consists of many races that were conquered before the contact with humanity, such as Kig-Yar, Unggoy, Jiralhanae etc.

How does your character interact with the world around them and the people in it?: When it comes to Marines and other UNSC supporting civilians, Brielle is very friendly, and tries to make people feel comfortable, but other than that, all she sees is tactical positions, a subway turns into a chokepoint, and an open field turns into a killzone.

Provide a brief description of your character: Brielle was born into a poor slum on Earth, and was put into an orphanage after her parents abandoned her. She was raised by drug dealers and hooligans, but each one taught her skills that would improve her military career. The keen eye for details from graffiti artists and the ability to scope a place out from the basic robber. However, even with all of this negative role models, she still saw the good in people, still saw people as people, and not just as criminals, but she was scared that she would grow to do so. So, she left that life, and joined the UNSC, passing basic and become a fully fledged marine. While she is only a short 5'9", she is good with a sniper, and while she isn't great a CQC, her skills with a sniper are near to that of a professional.

General Character Info: Alyson comes from Gao, recruited as an Agent to help with the sovereignty of the Republic, and has been sent on several missions with other operatives, the most recent one being Geminus to help with rebelling against the UEG. Before then they were a hunter for an exotic meats shop owner, hunting Gao wildlife such as Idjoms, and rarely Glowfish. Alyson's job as a hunter got shut down as the owner of the exotic meats shop died of old age. They were unable to find any other job, so applied for a job in the Gao Armed Forces, after three years of enlistment they were approached with the option of joining the Gao Infiltration Forces, which she gladly accepted. 

Reason for joining: I've been kicked out of the Covenant for inactivity a couple of months ago, and I've recently gotten back into playing Halo 13. So I'm going to try applying for the URF, I haven't been the best roleplayer, but I've gotten better.

general character info: Synopra is a loopy and loud enthusiast of the Convenant religion, who enjoys exterminating heretics to his religion. Zorreeus is an incredibly goofy and dimwitted individual, only shining within battle. He's quite unprofessional and can be a lot to handle since he may not know what he's doing.

Reason for joining: Covenant is usually a lot more interesting the USCM since you have more vast races at your disposal and aren't confined to being only a human which is a nice touch to me and provides a wider range of much needed roleplay variety.

Roleplay Example/History: I have RPed for 4 years on multiple platforms and I think I am pretty good at it because the people I RP'd with were very very good so I had to keep up with them in terms of skill for 4 long, hard years.

Scenario 1:

You’re on the ONI Aegis and the ONI RD requests a Sierra team to deploy to VT9, as the covenant have been spotted and are attacking. They have not breached the gate and it is unclear as to the size of their forces. What do you do?

I would first ask about the size of the Covenant force as well as the status of the artifact. Due to the rules requiring a valid mission that is more complex than killing random forces, I would validate that a real attack was being conducted.

Scenario 2:

You’re on the ONI Aegis and receive an urgent request from a Platoon Leader to deploy onto the UNSC Warship as the Insurrectionists have deployed a sizeable force and are taking control of the ship, and arming the nuclear device as they request assistance. What do you do?

I would relay the information to the CO or RD and clarify if deployment is authorized and proceed accordingly to their response. Sergeants are not of command authority to make the order, but the situation in question would validate at least some consideration.

Scenario 3:

You’ve been deployed on a mission to give the covenant back their bomb. You manage to arm the bomb, but your fellow spartan has been cut down and his body is being dragged away by the Covenant towards an escape pod. What do you do?

This is straight forward. Protocol dictates the abandonment of current tasks to either retrieve the Spartan or, if the situation is bad enough, their gear. The bomb is secondary.

How does your character interact with the world around them and the people in it?: Elias generally tries to see the good in everything, remaining optimistic even in the worst environment with the worst people. 

Provide a brief description of your character: Born to a wealthy family, Elias hails from a line of military officers. Growing up with a cushioned life, the Danish man breezed through the early years of his life until he joined a marine academy where he was put to the test. Pulling through, Elias graduated and began his career in the UNSC, a new but confident greenhorn. Serious at times, Elias can switch between lightening the mood and taking charge on the flip of a coin. Standing at 6'3 with prominent Danish features, having an amiable personality, and specializing with SMGs and pistols, Elias is a quality medic.
