Character(s): Jacob Stone

How does your character interact with the world around them and the people in it?: Jacob Stone is a former ODST, having worked with the likes of Hill and Coney and was apart of the ODSTs sent to Far Isle before they pulled out to nuke it, and remains on the wanted list. Disillusioned by the actions of the UNSC when heavily influenced by ONI combined with a view of general incompetence of the UNSC in their ability to fight the Covenant, Jacob Stone knows that more has to be done to win this fight and save humanity. Not just from the alien invaders, but from tyranny of all kinds. He's probably just looked at by everyone as a crazy conspiracy theorist, but he can fight well.
Civilians - Sheep being led by sheep whose shepards are wolves. He intends to save the flock from their shadowy ONI overlords.
URF/X-52/SoE - The only people he can count on and the only ones he can trust having his back to, while he may disagree with some parts of "The Cause," he knows they're the best bet for the liberation of humanity and not just a meek survival. He has a particular respect for those apart of X-52, having worked closely with them before, like Doctor Blackstone.
Covenant - Another group in a long list of bad guys that's slowly and steadily becoming shorter and shorter. A good threat to exploit to further weaken the UNSC. Their technology, if it can be recovered safely, would be an incredible asset to the URF and as such is one of his priorities.
UNSC/ODSTs - A mixed bag of cowardly traitors and misguided but good people, Stone works as best he can to bring them into the light. Especially his former compatriot ODSTs should he encounter them, but the Foxes need to be thinned in the hunt so they don't present too much of a threat to the URF's goals. While he wishes things were different, taking down the UNSC will take down the UEG, and that has to get done.
ONI/UEG - The ones pulling the strings, the evil leading the blind who lead the deaf. They are Stone's true target and anyone wearing their insignia or under their banner will be handled accordingly to the vile tragic acts they committed in life. Scientists are an exception, as they are a source of intelligence.

Provide a brief description of your character: Above average height and stature, well built, good posture. Blue eyes, black hair, a regulation buzzcut but now he's groan a goatee. The tattoo he had of his ODST unit has been changed to now be in holy flame, and he now sports an old American flag on his other shoulder. A keen and experienced warrior and leader, the SoE ethos is something he can get behind and is the change he badly needed to stay in the fight. They're highly motivated and willing to do what has to be done to save those he cares about and is aided by a yearning vengeance for his dead friends. However this motivation needs to stay in check, or else his potentially wreckless actions may get him the "heroic" death he seeks too soon.

Do you understand that members of this whitelist are held to a higher standard of roleplay?: Yes I comprehend this. Shooting the SSD, brutalizing people outside of what the SoE's lore states as acceptable (such as against officers), and acting in a way unlike a human being aren't acceptable or normal. Those apart of a whitelist should be adding content and fun to a round, not taking away from it.

Do you understand that if your behavior is deemed inappropriate you will be removed from the whitelist?: Yes I understand. People in a whitelist represent their faction whether they like it or not and want to or not, and they need to act accordingly. This is a lesson I understand coming from my past actions, actions which won't be repeated as I try to turn over a new leaf with the server.

Do you understand that breaking a server rule can remove you from this whitelist permanently?: Yes I acknowledge this.
Those in a whitelist should be held to an even higher standard than "normal" players and should have less leeway with the rules. At this point, they should have a clear understanding and should act accordingly.

general character info: Dukud is a relatively average grunt, quick to panic and not exactly on the durable side, but still has complete faith and loyalty in those ranking above him. Isan being only a Minor means he is by no means an exceptionally experienced member, but he still puts all the zeal one would expect from his kind into all actions against the heretics.
 
Reason for joining : While I think the other two factions are fine, I simply prefer not playing yet another human character in this kind of setting, especially with how varied and unique each of the covenant races are.

Roleplay Example/History: I have been playing for about two years now, having mostly stayed on another heavy RP server. On said server I actually had a whitelist for a species accepted, so I feel like I am capable of doing decent RP.

More depth with factions details IE: roles, etc will be added later. The covenant are a collection of races all unified under the command of the Prophets, the faction is entirely held under a zealous religion of which humanity are considered heretics and thus must be exterminated.

General Character Info: Grew up in an outer colony with his parents. His father joined the UNSC as a marine, he was dispatched on what could be compared to a suicide mission with no chance for evac. He was killed by the covenant and Matthew blames the UNSC for sending him to his death.

Reason for joining : Underdogs using guerilla tactics sounds more fun to me than being on the larger team. (And IC it's for revenge.)

General character info: Sero is a extremely zealous Ranger Sangheili. He will generally hold respect for those who fight alongside them in the name of The Great Journey and will do his to insure that his objectives against the heretics are completed, even if it means his own life being lost. He generally prefers a more ranged Approach to combat, preferring a Covenant Carbine as his primary weapon. Though he will not be afraid to enter CQC and use his backup Plasma Rifle.

Reason for joining : I have been a fan of Halo since I was 6, and being able to play as a member of "The Bad Guys" seems really interesting. I also love some of the lore behind the Covenant as well. And just to be honest, playing as a Sangheili really appeals to me.

Roleplay Example/History: I have been playing Baystation 12 and CM SS13 for about the last 7 or so Months.

More depth with factions details IE: The Covenant is...well a covenant of races under the rule of the Prophets and the Elites (to a certain extent). They are highly fanatical and zealous organization who are currently embroiled in a war with Humanity due to them being Heretics (though in reality its because Humanity essentially shatters the entire Religion that the Prophets set up and benefit from).

Explain what you would do in the following scenarios and why:



Scenario 1:
You’re on the ONI Aegis and the ONI RD requests a Sierra team to deploy to VT9, as the covenant have been spotted and are attacking. They have not breached the gate and it is unclear as to the size of their forces. What do you do?



What I would do depends on many different factors, mainly being the size of both the covenant and UNSC/ONI forces at the base and getting a proper and clear objective from the research director. From this simple report, the deployment of a Sierra team is not warranted but if a large group of covenant forces deploy sometime later and there is a serious risk of ONI assets being destroyed or captured, then the deployment may be authorized.
      A Sierra team should not be deployed for one report of covenant forces near the base, and the research director presumably did not give any other important intel as to what the actual goal of the deployment would be. If the RD gave a report such as, “Requesting a Sierra team to VT9, there is a major covenant assault going on and they are about to steal ONI documents and are about to breach my office, our guards can’t hold them off!” then I would likely deploy down to the planet with the team. To put it short, I would not deploy from this simple description of covenant forces but if certain factors change later on, then I would likely deploy with the team if they gave the proper clearance and objectives.




Scenario 2:
You’re on the ONI Aegis and receive an urgent request from a Platoon Leader to deploy onto the UNSC Warship as the Insurrectionists have deployed a sizeable force and are taking control of the ship, and arming the nuclear device as they request assistance. What do you do?




I would first make sure the platoon leader is the aCO, and if an attempt has previously been made from the UNSC forces. If the platoon leader is the aCO at the time and he gives a proper objective for us to accomplish, such as ‘disarm the nuclear device’ or ‘secure/retrieve x and take them back to the Aegis’ then the deployment of a Sierra team would likely happen. The loss of a UNSC warship would be a great blow to the local forces, so regaining control of it would be a great objective for the team to accomplish. However, if the platoon leader is not the aCO at the time and there is no request from the proper commanding officer, then nothing is to be done about this situation and the request can be disregarded for the time. If we deployed from the request of a platoon leader who does not have a clear understanding of the whole situation, then our time and resources would be wasted which could have been put somewhere else.



Scenario 3:
You’ve been deployed on a mission to give the covenant back their bomb. You manage to arm the bomb, but your fellow spartan has been cut down and his body is being dragged away by the Covenant towards an escape pod. What do you do?



Retrieving the gear is first priority in this situation, and I would leave whatever position I am in and retrieve the gear. In a perfect situation, the bomb would be activated and I would likely use the escape pod with the body and make my way back to deposit the gear back on the Aegis. If the spartan gear falls into the covenant hands, a much worse outcome would likely come rather than if I chose to stay on the ship and defend the bomb. If I am the last remaining spartan in this situation, I would likely fax high command of what had happened and let them know that the gear is secure and the mission has failed.

General character information: Kib is a Kig-Yar of default species, highly faithful to the Prophets and Covenant ideology. Mostly prefering on-ship duty, he is a crew member that possesses no prejudice against the other races, and never underappreciates anybody based just on their race, being even supportive most of the time to others.

Reason for joining: I like the Covenant side more than UNSC or any other faction, because it's religious and multi-race culture interests me more than anything of the same nature, which makes interesting possibilities for me, as well as it's aesthetics.

Roleplay example/history: I played mainly on medium RP servers before, and a bit on high RP, though not for long. I am able to do general RP, participate in RP situations, can study the lore required behind server's theme etc.

More depth with faction's details: Covenant is a space empire founded by two races - San'Shyuum and Sangheili after the long war between each other. It's ideology is based around the legacy of the race named Forerunners that once inhabited the galaxy and left behind a lot of artifacts and technologies after vanishing. Not a single change is allowed in the design of Forerunner's designs, due to then being considered holy and untouchable, which leads Covenant to having a lot of technologies they gathered being used not to the fullest potential. It consists of many races that were conquered before the contact with humanity, such as Kig-Yar, Unggoy, Jiralhanae etc.

How does your character interact with the world around them and the people in it?: When it comes to Marines and other UNSC supporting civilians, Brielle is very friendly, and tries to make people feel comfortable, but other than that, all she sees is tactical positions, a subway turns into a chokepoint, and an open field turns into a killzone.

Provide a brief description of your character: Brielle was born into a poor slum on Earth, and was put into an orphanage after her parents abandoned her. She was raised by drug dealers and hooligans, but each one taught her skills that would improve her military career. The keen eye for details from graffiti artists and the ability to scope a place out from the basic robber. However, even with all of this negative role models, she still saw the good in people, still saw people as people, and not just as criminals, but she was scared that she would grow to do so. So, she left that life, and joined the UNSC, passing basic and become a fully fledged marine. While she is only a short 5'9", she is good with a sniper, and while she isn't great a CQC, her skills with a sniper are near to that of a professional.
