I am active whenever I am home, so basically always

How long have you been active within the Space Station 13 community?
Like 2-4 years but most of the time I was inactive, been really active since 2017

Do you have a history of bans?
I think I once asked to get banned in citadel, because well... it is citadel, but besides that no, I don't think so

Do you have any past experience as server staff/moderation?
I have moderated a small discord server, and got really close to being staff on a NW reg on M&B (I was basically talking to staff 24/7)

*If you are applying for Lore Master, Describe your in depth knowledge of the series.
I know a lot about the covenant and the flood, not too much but not too little about the Innies and UNSC, but I don't know much about halo 4 and 5's lore since I haven't played them. I know a lot about the early covenant war, and since we are on that time period I thought it would be good for me to be a lore master

Yeah, I mean that is basically why I want to be a lore master

Time in SS13: 7 years so far been active for all those years

Any SS13 Bans: I was banned from yog and goon for being rude on yog and ban evasion on goon and besides that I got banned from the lifeweb (only active ban)

Prior Moderation experience: I don't have any but I do have admin experience but I'm pretty sure it doesn't count considering it's been two years

Personally, I think the most important thing about moderating is: I think that being a mod is all about keeping the server running smoothly and all players involved are following the rules and are keeping the game fun for all. (Also I wanted to be a Mentor someone who answers admin helps about game mechanics and resolving disputes between players but I couldn't find the format)

  Role/Species Abilities

Basically, I think the base ss13 spell system would be a great base for creating role/species based abilities. They'd kind of be like armor abilities from reach but they'd be tied to the role you spawn with and your species (also admemes). This would add more options for players to use in fights and will make a bit of forethought, into how players will approach a fight, necessary. They'd also give use to certain roles like squad leads, who outside of RP, are no different from your bog standard marine. Overall, I feel they'd increase player cooperation, raise the skill ceiling, and change the stale meta.
Reasons this system should be implemented:

  • You can have ODSTs/Commandos acting like real special forces, moving in quietly, taking out unsuspecting foes. (Also: ODST Tackleâ„¢)

  • You can have SLs, providing buffs to nearby allies and actually giving players a reason to follow them.

  • Species like Elites can dodge out of the way and Brutes can enter their primal rage.

  • You can have Spartans sprinting at blistering speeds and performing other feats that they do in lore.

  • Many, many more possibilities.
Potential Abilities
Note: In keeping with the general theme of the two factions in the halo universe, the human abilities I list will be mostly based on training and doctrine (learned skills and strategy) while the covenant will be more focused on their alien nature (physical differences in their species and their advanced tech). Of course, any recommendations that are to the contrary are welcome.

UNSC
Marine --- Sprint (Short-Medium burst of speed followed by a small slowdown and medium cool down.)
MG Marine --- Suppressing Fire (Fire rate increase, medium cool down.)
Scout Sniper Marine --- AP rounds (High Increase to Penetration with weapons, very long cool down.)
Assault Recon Marine --- Adrenaline Rush (Increase in damage and pain resistance, long cool down.)
EVA Marine --- Void Training (Decreased slip resistance and better void survivabilty, for those moments when you get caught in a hull breach with no suit, very long cool down.)
Marine Medic --- Basic First Aid (Provides a small amount of brute healing to a target, medium cool down.)
Designated Marksman Marine --- Bipod (Slightly Increased accuracy, as long as they are still, short cool down.)
Marine SL --- Coordinated Fire (Increases accuracy of allies in a 2-3 tile radius, medium cool down.) Sprint
Platoon Leader --- Marching Pace (Slightly increased speed for a 7 tile radius, long duration, long cool down.) Moral Boost (Slightly lowers pain damage, short cool down.)
ODST --- Door Kicker mode or Breach (Accuracy, damage, and fire rate slightly increased for a short duration, long cool down)=.) Tackle (Provides a chance to stun a target and the user, with the chance dictated by the targets species, medium cool down.)
CQB ODST --- Krav Maga (Provides a chance to stun an enemy, higher than the tackle and that does not stun user, with the chance dictated by the targets species, medium cool down.)
Sniper ODST --- Precise Aim (Extreme-increases to limb hit chance, very long cool down.)
ODST Medic --- Trauma Kit (Provides a medium amount of healing to a target, medium cool down.)
ODST Engineer --- Firefight Fortification (Immediately lays out a deploy-able barricade, about equal to a sandbag, long cool down.)
ODST Squad Lead --- Full Squad Cohesion (Increased Accuracy in a 5 tile radius, long cool down.)

Do you understand the RoE? Yes.

What do you think your job is as the role you are applying for? The CO is the captain of the Bertels. The Commanding Officer is in charge of overseeing ground and space operations as well as make sure everything is in syncopation with protocol. They are to ensure that VT9 remains both a secret and unexplored as well as make sure Crescent Base is at all times unknown by the general population. If the URF does show up, to also neutralize the hostile faction to keep the system under UNSC control.

Why should you be whitelisted? I have played the CO role prior to the whitelist, Prescott being designed for said role. As an ODST I have shown to be competent in situations and keep a level head. The CO role is something I consider to be very serious and vital the how the UNSC performs. An incompetent CO would lead to the UNSC flopping. I have read up on proper Naval protocol especially of what to say over radios to ships and craft both within and outside the fleet and know how to properly address all space worthy vehicles in a nonhostile manner, as opposed to those who use lethal force as a means to entice cooperation.

Any SS13 Bans: i was once PC banned from paradise because someone else spoofed my mac address. i had never played on paradise before an i was able to get the ban appealed

Prior Moderation experience: I own my own discord server, I moderate one other server. I've been moderator for a few things otherwise but its been so long I cant remember the name of them.

Personally, I think the most important thing about moderating is: Control over a situation and making sure all the facts are straight and listening to every side of the story. a wrong ban is a bad ban and a bad ban is trouble for everyone involved.

Smile Chemical warfare.

Now, to clarify, Chemical warfare IS BAD, It can fuck you up IRL.I agree with the geneva convention in banning it due to gas warfare of world war one.

Anyways, This is not now, This is the future(Not the far future, There are no Fish people or SPESS MEHREENS). And in the future, Morals will have changed, Chemical warfare would most likely be less looked down on now. What I suggest is things like the mac cannons rounds or general grenades getting a few brothers or sisters

I present, Chemical warfare, 
Want to stop those pesky UNSC from being to see you but not charge through your smoke like a kamikase, Then use things like poison Gas. poison Gas would cover the hallway and stop any pesky unsc from going through it without a gas mask or helmet. If they do, They are F-U-C-K-E-D(Not literally)

Want to throw a grenade of white phosphorous in to the bertel and burn any Pesky enemies to a deep fried bargain bucket as well as blind them with the Hellion that takes a good while to burn out.

Need to make your escape From unsc forces but dont want to risk burning a hole through a ship with napalm, Then use
A hallucinogenic smoke grenade which makes your marines think they are seeing death itself.

To sum it up, You could add a lot of variety with chemical weaponry, It would make someone a lot more cautious seeing smoke when charging at you, and would generally SPICE up the game a bit(imsogoingtohellforpostingthis)
