Taurus City is a map reserved for the Capture and Hold gamemode. It is thematically based around a small city on Taurus Colony, featuring a variety of buildings with various functions, wide open roads, sidewalks with occasional structures useful for cover, and a beachfront on the south end of the map. Capture Points for the gamemode are found throughout the city within the various buildings, requiring players to cover large areas in order to complete their objectives and win the round. The map features only one Z-Level, and as such features no rooftops or subterranean features.

Buildings Around the Map

Hospital: The largest building on the map, it is easily recognized by its size and stark white walls. It features a large variety of rooms, including waiting rooms, lobbies, offices, a staff lounge, a cryogenics room, a operation room, a pharmacy, rooms for patients, a body scanner room, a morgue, and a ambulance car park. A wide variety of medical supplies can be found around the hospital, making it useful for stocking up or brewing helpful chems when in a pinch and away from your faction's ship.

City Hall/Court House: Rather than being one single structure, this is in fact two buildings directly adjacent to each other. The left half of the building is the City Hall, and the right half the Court House. The City Hall features a lobby, a washroom, a staff room, a meeting room, a car park, and the Mayor's office and personal quarters. The front door and car park door can be 'locked' from the inside with a gate mechanism. The Court House features a court room, three different offices for lawyers, and a interrogation/evidence room for detectives. The interrogation/evidence room connects both buildings to each other, but can be 'locked' with a gate mechanism. The City Hall has a chance to spawn a Capture Point in the Mayor's office. It is located on the north-west side of the map.

Cargo Pad: A small fenced area, this is a landing pad for cargo ships to land. There's not much else here aside from a cargo cart, lights, and stray tools.

It features a front lobby, a jail with two prisoner cells and a shower room, a meeting room, a staff lounge, a washroom, the Police Chief's office, a tool closet, and an armory. The armory features various weapons, gear, a vendor, and a armor repair bench, making it useful to stock up when in a pinch and away from your faction's ship.
