How does your character interact with the world around them and the people in it?:

Connor Ford is a very straightforward and direct marine. He never beats around the bush and calls them like he sees them, making him a very effective NCO who leads his men without hesitation. While on the battlefield he has a serious and by the books attitude, he enjoys shooting the shit and making wisecracks during downtime. He is very respectful of the chain of command and makes sure his men are always in the right spot, at the right time, doing the right thing. His attitude towards combat can be very headstrong as he never lets go of a perceived advantage but he also knows how to lay low when needed and prepares for every outcome, often being the one to carry extra repair kits or supplies he's almost certain his comrades have forgotten. He has a particular hatred of covenant and a general disdain of URF as he sees them as risking humanity's future, though his attitude towards innies could be more ascribed to disappointment than hatred. He tends to be very kind towards civilians and will stick out his neck to help them.

Provide a brief description of your character:

Connor Ford is a brown-haired caucasian man in his mid 20s. He came from a poor family from Harvest but joined the corps straight out of high school before first contact to make a better life for himself, but ever since the destruction of his home he has taken on a new level of devotion to the UNSC - half because he has nowhere to go back to, half because he wants revenge against the covenant.
