Sangheili
The Sangheili[5][6] (Macto cognatus,[7] "I glorify my kin"), known to humans as Elites,[8] are a saurian[9] species of strong, proud, and intelligent warriors, as well as skilled combat tacticians. The Sangheili are named after their home planet, Sanghelios. Due to their skill in combat, the Sangheili have formed the military backbone of the Covenant for almost the entirety of its existence. They had a very strong rivalry with the Jiralhanae, which finally boiled over into open hatred during the Great Schism, and the conclusion of the Human-Covenant war.
Called elites by the UNSC for a reason. Skilled in combat, proud, strong, intelligent, and competent combat tacticians; Sangheili have formed the Covenant military for its entire existence. Usually deployed as Officers or Shipmasters, Sangheili are always found surrounded by multiple lower ranking Covenant units and are always seen leading squads of Grunts or Kig-Yar.
Ranks of the Sangheili
Zealot: Be the most badass elite ever and swing your dual swords around Be the highest ranking elite availible. Use your two swords to utterly obliterate marines. Don't bum rush in and kill the enemys and actually plan something tactical. You have two swords, a plasma rifle, plasma pistol, and a grenade.
Ultra: You are the second highest rank of elite. Tactically plan your moves and command squads. You start with a Carbine,Energy Sword, Plasma Rifle, Plasma pistol, a spare Carbine magazine and a plasma grenade. You only really did it for the sword.
Specops: Third highest rank of elite. Command squads of Specops Unggoy and stealthily kill all of your enemies and then a grunt screams that the ointment looks like a food nipple and you are compromised. Scout your enemies and report to your team. You start with a Carbine, Plasma Rifle, Energy Sword, two spare magazines for your carbine and the ability to become invisible.
Ranger You are the third lowest rank of elite. Scout ahead or snipe people from a distance using your Carbine cry that you don't have a jetpack like in the games. Go on a space walk to breach the enemies bridge. You start with two Plasma Rifles, an Energy Sword and two grenades.
Major: You are the second lowest rank of elite. Command small sauads of Minors and cry that you don't get a sword with them follow your superiors orders. You start with two Plasma Rifles, a Plasma Pistol and a grenade.
Minor: You are the lowest rank a Sangheili can be. Follow your superiors orders. Follow your Major Squad Leader and cry with them that you don't get a sword. You start with a Plasma Rifle, Plasma Pistol and a grenade.
