Rumors have started to spread of a possible United Rebel Front cell growing within Geminus City.  Due to such rumors and the threat that the could lose the colony to a rebel cell and causing it to join the United Rebel Front, the UNSC dispatch the UNSC Heaven Above, to reinforce the security forces already in the city. The UNSC do not want to lose the city due to the recently installed MAC gun emplacement, although the colonist have been wondering why it was installed in the first place.

For the UNSC, defending Cassius station from the Covenant or Insurrection is of vital importance due to the station acting as their main spawnpoint. If destroyed, many UNSC roles will no longer be able to spawn and the UNSC will have to rely on the help of the ONI forces on the secret military installation of VT9.

United Rebel front have been slowly growing their presence in the city and aim to try and convert the city to join their side against the UNSC and to take the MAC gun which would be a powerful tool against any UNSC ships that may try to blockade or invade the planet.  They have installed a small base on the planet and after having received reports in the area about the UNSC Heaven Above, they now have a target to try the Mac gun on... if they can turn the city to their side.

How both sides try to turn the city to their favor could very much show how the war between the two factions may be for many colonies in the sector.  Will the URF try to take the city subtly or will there be blood in the streets as urban warfare breaks out forcing residents to seek shelter or be forced to join one side or another just to survive.

Cassius Station is the main UNSC Installation in the 111 Tauri system, and is included in the Outer Colonies / Reclaimation / Revolution gamemodes. Cassius Station acts as a combination Orbital MAC Gun and main base for the UNSC forces in the 111 Tauri system. Cassius Station orbits VT9.
