You are the Executive Officer of the UNSC Heavens Above. It is your duty to keep the sector under UEG control. You have been given command of the UNSC Heaven Above and along with a detachment of marines and ODST hell jumpers to complete your mission.

You should work with the officers of the marines and ODST to help complete any objectives given to you.

You are in complete control of giving orders to marines and the ODST on the ship to hold onto the sector if thre is no commanding officer. You have access to some of the most highly advanced weaponry the United Nations Space Command has available. These tools should come in use as you search for the United Rebel Front cell that is reported in hiding in the sector.

Your standing orders are to patrol the sector, safeguard the colony and secret ONI base on VT9, and to defeat any threat that threatens the UEG's holding on the area.

'''You are ultimately responsible for the ship.''' You should not be going down planet side, you should leave that to the grunts due to the fact that they have a platoon leader to lead them. You should be leading things on the ship and providing support that they may require.

Of course if the ship is crippled you are free to evacuate the ship before it is destroyed. You can also leave if your presence is requested by ONI personnel. However you are in your right to turn them down, after all, you do not need to take orders from ONI.
