You are responsible for overseeing how this entire vessel as a whole will act out and proceed with the mission in any way you see fit. That does not mean, however, that you are entitled to abuse. The lives of your crew and your marines are precious, try not to spend them on stupid decisions. However if a person or persons is a threat to the operations of the UNSC or the UNSC themselves, the ordering of request or even a battle execution be made without warrant from high command. A report should be filed afterwards for proper review of the situation.
Difficulty: Hard

Playstyle: As a Commander, it is your job to brief your men on the mission and direct them to how you want the operation be performed on the field. Communicate with your branch Officers to ensure ship combat readiness, or do all the work yourself if they are nowhere to be found. Enforce the rules of the UNSC and act as thr operations coordinator when other command staff are not available. You are not required to leave the bridge for anything other than materials to fax, but do so at your discretion. Try not to wear body armor or carry around anything not able to be holstered with a real holster. You aren't a soldier and neither are your crew. Leave that to the Marines.
|-
!
Executive Officer
|
Description: The Acting Commander and second in command of the UNSC Frigate. You are there to aid the Commanding Officer with his daily duties, and to keep the Marine Corps in line when he's busy tending to the ship's navigation. When the Commanding Officer is not present, you are to take charge of the whole operation and give the marines a briefing.
Difficulty: Medium

Playstyle: Follow the orders of your Commanding Officer. Help him do his work or lessen the burden by taking the initiative. Command the Corps if the CO is busy piloting the vessel or coordinating with the other officers. Make sure the vessel is running smoothly and that each department is doing their jobs. It is recommended to take a M6D as personal protection, provided you have a holster. However using body armor and carrying anything bigger than that is unnecessary and unprofessional so avoid doing so unless a boarding party has entered the ship or a mutiny is underway.
Keep everything in check in lieu of the Commanding Officer. Make sure the armories are fully stocked with all M7s and body armor in storage unless boarding or scuttling must be done. Your only form of secure communication to other soldiers is through the shipcom (:s) so chatter and reactions from other personnel is quite possible. Just patrol and make sure everyone is safe. Encourage the use of MA5Bs for surface operations, but M7s or M45s for below level. While you have access to an armory full of every weapon, you have limited access to them and the danger can be elevated if Insurrection get their hands on a BR55 or M395. That is your call to make.

There is also a onsite Nuke. Do not rely on it to function 100% of the time. The Nuke is for self detonation in case of a breech that overruns tbe facility. Arming it and getting behind adequate cover is necessary. Do not mess this call up. You are responsible for any mess ups.
|-
!
ONI Security
|
Description: ONI Security are a special NAVSPECWARCOM unit meant for protecting the scientists and the research they have. They use heavier but more protecting armor than Marines and have access to better equipped vehicles and weaponry to defend their stations. They are the first responders to a situation.

Difficulty: Low

Playstyle: ONI Security can be boring, but when it kicks up you have to know what you are doing. Unlike Marines, you are strictly to defend the covert operations below ground. Protocol 1 is to immediately demand for the targets to lay down. However if weapons are out, KOS can be enacted, unlike Marines who can only be fired upon. You are also E-4 Corporals. If need be, you can make orders for soldiers to carry out. However, this is ill advised if they are doing their own tasks.

Most work would be manning the gate confetti maker, and the sublevel check point. Any others can guard towers. MA5Bs are fine for surface work, but sublevel 1 can call for M7s and M45s. Do take a M6D and holster it to finish off any hostiles beaten.

DO NOT SNOOP AROUND THE RND BASE! YOU ARE NOT A SCIENTIST! SUBLEVEL 2 IS OFF LIMITS UNLESS WITH A RESEARCHER AND SUBLEVEL 1 DOESN'T NEED UNNECESSARY PATROLMEN! LISTEN TO YOUR SQUAD LEADER!
You are the director of one of the most secretive ONI facilities. Your task is to supervise every aspect of it and mantain control of the facility. You are in command of the team of researchers and ONI security forces stationed there.

Work with your fellow researchers to aid the UNSC forces, to advance the fields of science, or just to mess around

Good Morning Director
Time to science!
You have a very large amount of resources available at your disposal to create whatever! Since you are the boss, it is your decision which will mark what will be the focus of the research. There are many "trees" of science that can be explored which can bring numerous benefits and problems.

Secure, Contain, Protect.
You have the ONI security forces at your disposal, protect your facility at all costs, if it falls the info inside it might be compromising either to ONI or to humanity. If unable to protect the facility and its defenses are breached, you are authorized to activate the nuclear warhead located on level 2. You can also authorize a fax to high command for reinforcements. Asking the UNSC forces for help will also work, but they might be busy dealing with insurgents or covenant.]

Play your Role
Roleplay is one of the key aspects of playing both director and normal research, you wont be doing much, but if you enjoy playing a character and developing a story, it is good to get away of the action for a while. Although eventually it may catch up.

ORION PROJECT
LEVEL 3 ACCESS REQUIRED
The level 3 of the facility is entirely dedicated to the ORION program. It consists of several surgeries which will augment a person giving them an advantage over an average human or alien. While better, they're not invincible and if played unresponsively, they will die. Please be considerate with who you choose as a candidate, as it will impact their performance alot.

Tips
*Patience is key, research might seem boring, but it is rewarding if used for something.
*Roleplay is very important if you want to make this role more interesting.
*There are thousands of things that can be done with research, from weapons to mechs.
You are the Personal AI or PAI of someone.

Work with the tools you have at your disposal to aid your master in any way.

Hello, World
Whats is a PAI?
As the Personal AI or pAI for short, it is your job to be a personal assistant to the assigned player. You come with various software and fit perfectly into the PDA devices or anywhere else. Each pAI that has been requested and downloaded can be bounded to the player or which the pAI would call 'master' in which the pAI would require to follow the orders given from their master. In order to unbound a pAI from a master, it would require the device to be wiped stripping the existing personality out of the device into ghost mode to which it can be requested again, chances of getting the same pAI in multiple rounds depends on the player who controls that unique personality in wither they are planning to play as an active person on the SEV Torch or ghost in order to become a pAI.

How to get PAI
A PAI can be acquired with a pAI Device, which can be found around the map, crafted by research, OR chosen in the character loadout section before a round.

To get an actual PAI, pick up the device with an empty hand. Click it again while it's in your active hand. Search for personalities in the window that appears. This will send out a request to all active ghosts/observers in-game. After some time, usually 30 seconds to 2 minutes, they will submit their pAI personality details. You will receive an update from your pAI device every time a new personality becomes available. To download a new personality, simply go through the steps to search for a personality and select the one you like the best. You now have a pAI!

Dealing with unsatisfactory PAI
Sometimes things just don't work out. Maybe the personality you chose doesn't fit your playstyle. Maybe the player playing the pAI has unexpectedly disconnected. Maybe the pAI is being intentionally antagonistic, ignoring directives, or interpreting them in a way you don't appreciate. The solution is simple: wipe the personality. This can be done in much the same way you downloaded it to begin with. Simply choose "Wipe Personality" in the device settings window. Now the device is free of the old personality and a new one can be requested as normal. This forcibly ghosts the player playing the wiped pAI, and allows them to observe the round as normal (they are capable of re-applying to be a pAI as well.)

How to play PAI
Only ghosts with active, logged-in clients receive the request to be a pAI. When someone wants a pAI, you will receive a yes/no dialog box asking if you want to be one. Answer yes, and in the following window that appears fill out any information you feel necessary (name is all that's really required here, the rest is optional). Hit "Submit Personality" when you're done. Your personality has now been added to the list of available pAI personalities users may choose from. If someone likes what you wrote, they'll download you and you'll be placed inside the device as a new personality.

PAI Software
pAI's have a selection of software they can download to try and aid their master. Note: Once software is downloaded, you are stuck with it unless you suicide, so choose carefully!
You can also authorize a fax to high command for reinforcements. Asking the UNSC forces for help will also work, but they might be busy dealing with insurgents or covenant.]
VT9 is a desert planet situated in the Gliese 884 system. It is owned by the UNSC and its classified as a restricted military area. What makes this planet so important is unknown. It is considered a completely and totally lifeless planet by initial scans, extreme scarcity of water and wildlife made or any other important resource quickly made it a no go zone for early colonists. In reality it houses one of ONIS most secretive facilities.

History
First Interactions
VT9, and its space arounded was heavilly avoided due to its extreme aridness and vastness, which could prove dangerous for such a insignificant corner of space. On 2473, a UEG scouting team was sent to the planet to look for objects of interest that would deem it profitable for the UEG. The presence of unknown anomalies made it difficult for the UEG team to proceed with surveying procedures. After a hard and costly operation, the planet was found to be completely lifeless, and empty of anything valuable to humanity. The presence of these anomalies was covered up by the survey team shortly after receiving a large sum of credits from an unknown party.

Colonization of Gliesse 884
As the population of its neighboring planet, KS7 began to grow substantially, the planet was still widely avoided and even feared by some of the more superstitious colonists. It soon became the systems version of the "Bermuda Triangle" as folktales of scary beings and deities that described in outstanding detail how they would make entire cruisers disapear off the grid. This was mostly due to the suspicious UEG activity near its orbit and the multiple warnings issued to civilian ships nearing it.

The UNSC sends a cruiser to make sure the Gliese 884 system does not fault to actions of the United Rebel Front that have been reported in the area. As the UNSC scout through the sector, they are not alone in the sector as there is a secret location owned by ONI that has not been detected by anyone thus far that has been working on a project that could turn the war around for the UNSC against the United Rebel Front. The United Rebel Front and the UNSC both have their eyes however on the main colony in the sector of Emsville with the colonist not sure which side to pick in the conflict just wanting to live their peaceful away from the conflict.
However with the UNSC and United Rebel front doing battle to secure the sector for their side, another force is looming on the horizon.

KS7 is a extremely cold planet settled during the Golden Age by the United Earth Government on 2475. Althought it was first thought to be unhospitable due to its extreme cold and vastness, its extensive frozen water deposits and mineral rich cave systems convinced the UEG to setup a small minning operation which would become The Colony. Eventually it would hold the KS7 UNSC Depot which would later be taken by Insurgent forces.

History
Settlement
KS7 was settled on 2475 by the UEG to serve as a mining outpost due to its rich composition of rare minerals and metals. Construction of the Upper level of the current KS7 Colony began which served as the staff living quarters and ore storage/refinement.
Growth
As time went on the population on KS7 grew from around 20 miners and 6 other staff to around 78 people. During this time expansion of the first level had begun to accommodate more living quarters and other areas. The growth in population and the boom in income from extreme exploitation of the planets minerals soon attracted more people into the system, including megacorporations, traders, investors, doctors, security companies, entertainers, etc. Many more minning settlements where created around the KS7 Colony, causing it to become the planetary hub. This resulted in the creation of the sublevel of the KS7 Colony, which was designed for a larger population and urban infrastructure.

The Colony
The KS7 colony consists of two levels, the surface area, and the underground area.

The Surface
The surface level is the oldest part of the KS7 Colony, it is the original outpost built by UEG colonists which used to consist of living quarters, a small cafeteria (Which is still there) and a mineral storage facility. It has been renovated as time has gone on and includes these areas:
*Bar/Recreation
*Cafeteria
**Kitchen (Right under Cafeteria)
*Archeology/Library
*Abandoned Dorms
*Main LZ for KS7

The Sublevel
The newest addition to the colony, built with urban expansion and a larger population in mind, this part of the colony looks more like a small city than a storage facility. It houses most of the habitational, medical, federal, minning, storage, food, and welfare areas of the colony.

*Cafeteria
The UNSC sends a cruiser to make sure the sector does not fault to actions of the United Rebel Front that have been reported in the area.
The Covenant Empire, on their crusade to find any holy relics have noticed a unknown alien race within the sector.
