And on that particular day, I was SUPER fucking faded-- so, essentially, I hopped into my secondary Ckey (which I no longer have), got into a chopper, went out into an urban environment-- a city-- and shot a few rockets at some walls, before landing. And that essentially got me banned permanently. Not exactly my proudest moment-- a lot of my friends have migrated here, recently, and I'd like to join once more, if at all possible. Appeal details/ Why should you be unbanned: I was playing low pop early in the morning and was just goofing around really, I didn't intend to kill an NPC I honestly didn't expect to do that much damage and just wanted to joke around a bit, I admit it wasn't really high RP but I was just having a slow day and I was bored and the speech listed in the ban reason isn't really trolly, it was more intended as an IC joke. Also ban reason states killing NPCs when I only killed one unintentionally and it also says that I joined and ran around killing them even though I attempted my job when not much was going on, after that I got bored and so I left. Two years is a long time, and since then, I like to think I've changed as a person. I play games, I have fun, I don't take things overtly seriously anymore (Outside of my own health and college work) and I've been a good bean on other servers (If you want a reference, uh, I'm whitelisted for Predator over on CM13). I'd love to play the game again and I do enjoy Halo and the community around it. Appeal details/ Why should you be unbanned: By the point I had committed suicide, the CRS had had half its atmosphere breached, we had lost the main bomb and the backup Slipspace Core bomb was what I assumed at the time to be missing on a Spirit, and all of our breaching pods/second Spirit were either used or destroyed. Medbay was completely gone. I was not aware that the Starboard Hangar was depressurized when I went in, and my lungs popped from it. At this point we had failed two attacks with very little progress made, and when I went back to Medbay to get Dexalin, there was apparently an Arbiter.

Now, I was never aware that comitting suicide was job-bannable as it isn't mentioned anywhere in the rules on Discord, and I haven't read over the rules listed in-game to see if it's any different. I was already 'dead' as my lungs were gone and I couldn't fix them without access to the operating room or the medical vendors, and my assumption was that the Arbiter would suffice as a backup Shipmaster (I will admit I was also malding at the time and just wanted to Alt+F4). I was ahealed after my first attempt but I was still not told that suicide was against the rules, and I SSD'd after my second (and successful) attempt.

I rejoined to get messaged by Shark that I was jobbanned from Shipmaster. Now, I never would've done something like this if I was a human as it'd thematically make no sense, but for Sangheili I assumed that my reasoning was good enough to justify it. Had I been told otherwise I wouldn't have attempted. This is entirely a mistake on my part as I should've ahelped it first, but I was seething too hard to think of that.

I'd like to make some details apparent before I go into this,

I don't remember why exactly I decided to post what I did, likely as a funny joke which I believe was a good 40 seconds after round-end in the native unggoy language. I made sure to do this at round-end as most of us cracked jokes or did something stupid just before round-end and laughed it off. Wasn't the case for me, which I understand- In hindsight I shouldn't have done it at all. Posting a wall of text over comms isn't exactly a little gag.

Secondly, I did not realize I was being questioned after I think I was put in a muted role channel and not spoken to so I returned to whatever I was doing. I do not have the discord notifications sound on and I went to do other things throughout that day so I didn't return to my computer till after they banned me. I was bummed to see that it was a ban and a perma-ban specifically. I thought to myself, "Oh well... Shame." and I decided to move on.

Flash forward to now, still an avid Halo fan and geek, I saw the server was finally being revived. The only issue was that I was still banned. I figured I'd move on again and then Infinite came out, I got all siked about the Brutes and stuff and remembered my time here on this server. I genuinely liked this server, the staff were alright, the community was pretty alright (For an SS13 Community at least).
