Honestly i played it like 3 times and no more than 2-3 hours but from what i've heard about it of late, there has been improvement, but not enough to make it worth anything, you still do the same thing on most parts.

That's what I've heard as well. People say they implemented most of the stuff they promised on release, finally. I'm going to try it out sooner or later, just haven't found the time yet.
